Bhagya Lakshmi 8th February 2024 Written Update Square one. Neelam inquires about Lakshmi’s name. Neelam then comments that such a sacred name does not suit Lakshmi and instead, she should be called inauspicious. This causes Lakshmi to break down in tears, much to the sympathy of Dadi. Neelam continues, recalling all the troubles that Lakshmi has caused them. Despite Lakshmi’s attempts to speak up, Neelam silences her and places the blame for Virender’s condition on her. Just then, Rishi, Ayush, and Lakshmi’s sister arrive on the scene. Sonia also joins in blaming Lakshmi for Virender slipping into a coma. Feeling pushed to her limits, Lakshmi confronts Sonia regarding her constant taunts.
The others begin to notice a change in Lakshmi’s behavior as she stands up for herself. Sonia points out this change to Neelam and claims that Lakshmi is making them all lose their minds. Concerned about Lakshmi’s well-being, Dadi asks if she is okay while Karishma and Dadi make their negative remarks towards her. Rishi meets Lakshmi. She fondly remembers how he stood by her during her difficult moments. In return, she expresses the same love by calling out his name. Overwhelmed with emotion, Rishi embraces her. This shocks Malishka while Dadi, Ayush, and Lakshmi’s sisters all share in their joy. Grateful for Rishi’s unwavering support, Lakshmi thanks him sincerely. He lovingly responds that he would do anything for her sake.
However, their tender moment is interrupted by Neelam who questions Rishi’s actions despite knowing about Lakshmi’s involvement in Virender’s condition. Undeterred, Rishi defends Lakshmi’s innocence while Neelam and Karishma label her as inauspicious. Dadi attempts to defend Lakshmi but is stopped by Neelam. Shalu and Bani approach Ayush for support towards Lakshmi while Neelam issues a warning against it. Karishma requests Malishka to provide evidence, which she then presents in the form of a video incriminating Lakshmi. Neelam also claims that Lakshmi purposely caused Virender’s car brakes to fail.
Pursuing this line of questioning, Bani and Shalu ask Malishka if she was involved in framing Lakshmi. Kiran pleads with Abhay to defend Malishka. In response, Lakshmi explains that she was simply retrieving a doll from underneath the car, and Ayush wonders who could have placed it there. However, Malishka shifts the focus by accusing Lakshmi. Shalu and Bani come to her defense and urge Rishi to speak up. But Malishka asks Rishi to see the truth about Lakshmi instead. The nurse has suspicions that something may have happened to Virender. The police arrive at the hospital accompanied by a mechanic.
They inform the Oberoi family that they are there to take Virender’s statement. The inspector shares with the family that the mechanic reported tampered brakes and is treating it as an intentional murder attempt. Upon hearing this, Rishi tells the inspector they will update them once Virender regains consciousness. The inspector agrees and departs. Lakshmi attempts to explain that she did her best to save Virender, but Neelam makes a negative comment towards her. Malishka also blames Lakshmi for her parents’ deaths and Virender’s current condition, calling her inauspicious. Shalu sternly warns Malishka not to overstep her boundaries.
