Anuj asks if she remembers everything but forgets only him, to which Anupama explains that she didn’t forget him, but didn’t want to remember him. She adds that one day Devika pushed her and she ended up in the USA. Anupama and Anuj talk about the past five years and their feelings. Anuj reveals that he left his business and country with his daughter, causing tensions between him and Shruti. Vanraj is suspicious of Dimple’s relationship with Titu.
Hasmukh believes that relationships will always come back together. Anuj inquires about Aadhya, who hates Anupama along with her other children. Anupama and Anuj discuss their own feelings and their relationship, while Shruti celebrates her birthday alone. Aadhya worries about Shruti’s heart being broken by Anuj. The two former lovers become emotional during their conversation. After Anupama decides to end the relationship, Anuj struggles to accept it and persistently tries to keep her. Shruti happens to witness Anuj’s declaration of love for Anupama.
