Rakhi confronts Kareena, expressing her disappointment in trusting Preeta. She admits that her love for Preeta ultimately put Karan’s life in danger. As a result, she has decided to not forgive Preeta. She apologizes to Kareena for disregarding her warning, but Kareena insists there is no need for an apology. Nidhi then reveals that Karan only survived due to Preeta’s efforts, but she has kept this information to herself out of fear of being misunderstood by Rakhi and others.
Hearing this, Kareena is relieved that Rakhi finally sees the truth about Preeta. However, she still believes that Preeta brings bad luck to their family. Just then, Karan arrives and expresses his desire to talk about Preeta with Rakhi. But Rakhi refuses and storms off, followed by Kareena and Nidhi. Karan decides that he will have this conversation with Rakhi at the appropriate time. Shanaya informs Rajveer that Shaurya, who is Karan’s son, has certain rights to Kavya. She suggests that Rajveer may be trying to impress Karan and cause a negative impression of Shaurya. Rajveer denies this and states that he wants to be alone before leaving the conversation. >/p>
Shanaya privately notes that Rajveer’s actions are similar to those of the Luthra family. Meanwhile, Sandy enlists a locksmith’s help in opening a lock, but the locksmith refuses due to the late hour and needing to be with his family. Sandy offers payment, but when the locksmith declines, Shaurya forcefully takes him away. Kavya inquires why Palki appears down to Rajveer, who explains that he never confides in her. Kavya reassures Palki and asks her to share the details. Assuring Palki that she knows Rajveer well and can offer assistance, Kavya listens as Palki reveals that Rajveer made negative remarks about Karan. Suspecting that Rajveer must be upset with Karan, Kavya suggests this as a possible reason for his words. Rajveer overhears their conversation and believes that Kavya is well acquainted with him.
Assuring Palki not to worry, Kavya vouches for Rajveer’s character and insists that he won’t do anything wrong. Rajveer catches sight of them before Palki leaves. In the meantime, Shaurya and Sandy bring a locksmith to Luthra House to open a locked cupboard. Preeta calls Karan but he remains silent. Concerned, she asks him what’s bothering him. He admits to fighting with his mother and Preeta advises him to prioritize his mother’s happiness above all else. Thanking her, Karan hangs up and decides to follow Preeta’s advice by trying to understand his mother’s perspective. He realizes the importance of keeping Rakhi happy in their family dynamic.
