YRKKH 23rd May 2024 Written Update Roka twist. Abhira avoids the Poddars as Kajal thanks Ruhi for persuading Charu to move on. Abhira reflects on how she fought for Charu, but Charu quickly moved on without putting up a fight for her love. Manish is surprised to see so many guests at the party and Surekha clarifies that they are all from the Poddar family. Manish ponders about Kaveri’s intentions. As fate would have it, Abhira runs into Gayatri who reveals that Kaveri has invited them for a special surprise. Abhira suspects that Kaveri has something up her sleeve and decides to wait for her decision. While observing the Poddars enjoy themselves, Abhira glimpses Ruhi and Armaan dancing together. In her mind, she envisions herself dancing with Arman instead.
YRKKH 23rd May 2024 Written Update Roka twist:
Abhira mentions that she will go and fetch the person she had been planning to meet. As she hears Kajal’s voice, Sanjay’s words return to her. Love may be lost against family, but since she has neither love nor family, it doesn’t matter. Meanwhile, Kaveri is having a conversation with Vidya and Madhav about going on a vacation for their upcoming anniversary. They decide to make it a family trip and Abhira is happy for them. Some guests congratulate Manish and Surekha recognizes them from Rohit’s wedding. She wonders why they were invited to their party.
While walking, Abhira runs into Gayatri Bua who blesses her and expresses her concern over Armaan and Abhira’s divorce. Abhira questions why Gayatri didn’t try to contact her if she was so worried, but Gayatri explains that Kaveri invited her for a special occasion. Realizing that Kaveri must have something planned, Abhira feels like she shouldn’t be there at the Goenka’s party. However, before she can leave, Manish brings out a cake for her and the dance performance begins with Charu dancing alongside some other girls.
Armaan takes Ruhi for a dance, while Abhira envisions herself dancing with him. Charu brings the rings as Kaveri announces a surprise engagement and Roka ceremony for them. Abhira is taken aback by this news. Manish angrily tosses away the plate of rings, causing Ruhi and everyone else to worry. He firmly declares that their engagement will not take place. Kaveii questions his actions, to which he responds that Ruhi’s reputation is not so fragile that it can be ruined. He remains resolute in his decision, despite Kaverii’s attempts to convince him otherwise. Manish affirms that Ruhi and Armaan cannot come together. In response, Armaan inquires about the reason behind everything. Kaveri then poses the question of whether he wishes to marry Ruhi or not. Armaan states that he does, but not at the cost of anyone’s happiness.
Madhav pulls him aside for a conversation while Abhira sheds tears sitting on a bench. Manish approaches her, but she pleads with him not to speak. Madhav advises Armaan to listen to his heart and consider his desires in the matter, reminding him of the consequences of Kaveri’s stubbornness which still haunts them. Armaan insists on not being selfish like Madhav and causing hurt to those he cares about, including Abhira who has left their family’s home. Madhav argues that he has witnessed genuine happiness between them, but Armaan declares it as an illusion compared to the true joy he finds with his loved ones. Firm in his decision, Armaan declares that he will indeed marry Ruhi regardless of any other factor. Meanwhile, Abhira continues to cry as she hears everything from a distance while Manish helplessly watches on.
Kaveri asks Charu to locate the ring, which she successfully does. Manisha suggests they head back home, but Kaveri reminds her that this would mean Ruhi’s engagement getting canceled. However, Ruhi reassures everyone that she cannot cheat Manish and respects Kaveri too much to cause any harm. Just then, Armaan and Madhav arrive with Abhira receiving a message and immediately getting up. As Manish stumbles and hurts himself, Abhira rushes to his aid and takes him to the family. Ruhi takes this opportunity to have a private conversation with Manish while Abhira holds him close.
Concerned about his injury, Ruhi apologizes for causing trouble and promises not to engage with Armaan until he agrees, asking him for his support in fighting destiny. However, upon seeing Abhira there, he changes his mind. Manish informs Ruhi that he is prepared for Armaan and her engagement. In gratitude, Ruhi embraces him. Abhira turns away and sheds tears before departing. Krish hands over a first aid kit as Ruhi assists Manish. Meanwhile, Abhira meets with a man who questions her tardiness for a job interview. Apologizing, she explains that she has made reservations at a restaurant instead.
However, the man suggests they talk there as he has to catch a flight soon. Kaveri suggests starting the engagement ceremony since it’s unfair to keep the guests waiting any longer. Armaan suggests delaying the engagement and celebrating Manish and Swarna’s engagement today instead, but Kaveri is insistent on proceeding as planned. Despite Vidya and Kajal’s persuasion, Manish doesn’t mind the delay now. Abhira watches on as Charu presents the rings. Armaan looks at Abhira and feels sad.
