Jhanak 12th June 2024 Written Update Anirudh’s Wedding. Anirudh and Jhanak contemplate their marriage separately. While Jhanak tries to suppress her feelings and move on, Anirudh wrestles with the idea of a real marriage, realizing it may not be the best decision. Bipasha steps in to offer reassurance and excitement for their wedding night, but Anirudh remains unsure and declines any decorations. Lal, however, sees this as a genuine marriage and teases Anirudh for being shy before turning her attention to Arshi. Tanuja and Shrishti help Arshi to get ready for her wedding. During the preparations, she receives a call from Shubh, who urges her to hurry up because they are being called to the temple by Bharat. Excitedly, Shrishti points out that today is the day of Arshi’s marriage.
As they are getting ready, Bipasha arrives and compliments Arshi’s appearance. She also mentions that she has already made Anirudh ready, with Lal assisting him. Bipasha reminds Arshi that it is their wedding night and that Jhanak should be informed about it. Taking Arshi with her, she leads the way to the temple where everyone else is waiting. As they wait for Jhanak to arrive, Shubh asks if she will be joining them. Tanuja dismisses the idea, saying there’s no need for her presence. However, Shubh insists that Jhanak should witness their marriage taking place.
In the meantime, Anirudh and Arshi exchange compliments while getting ready for their special day. Bipasha adds that Anirudh must still put on his pagdi before officially becoming a groom. Shrishti, Tanuja, and Shubh pay a visit to Jhanak. Shubh reminds her of when she stayed at their house and the support from Anirudh. He invites her to his upcoming wedding where Arshi, her cousin’s sister, will also be present. Jhanak declines, stating that no one informed her about the event’s timing. Shrishti asks if she needs a special invitation.
Jhanak explains that she has exams the following day and her priority is to excel in them. Tanuja persuades her to reconsider, saying that nobody will pay attention to her at the wedding anyway. Arshi chimes in, asking if Jhanak is marrying willingly. Anirudh is taken aback by this question but Arshi clarifies that she trusts him completely and holds nothing against him. Bipasha tries to make Jhanak feel envious. She informs Jhanak that Lal, Anirudh, and Arshi want some privacy to spend some romantic time together. When she asks Jhanak to join them, Jhanak agrees and reveals that Shrishti has also invited her. However, Bipasha alerts them that they will have to wait as Anirudh and Arshi are still engrossed in their romance. Just then, Shubh and the others arrive. After a while, Anirudh and Arshi finally come out of their romantic bubble and are teased by Bipasha. Anirudh then reminds Jhanak to focus on her exams, to which she replies that she wouldn’t want to miss his wedding for anything. As they all leave for the temple where the wedding is taking place, Jhanak can’t help but feel downcast seeing Anirudh getting married. Shrishti tries to comfort her by pointing out how absorbed Anirudh is in his wedding preparations without even sparing a glance at her. This causes an argument between Jhanak and Shrishti.
Bharat reassures everyone not to worry, as Anirudh and Arshi are destined to be married. Shubh emphasizes the importance of this union. Tanuja affirms that Anirudh’s love for Arshi knows no bounds, as he has never shown any hesitation to marry her. She admires his compassionate nature and believes he would do the same for anyone in Jhanak’s position. Shrishti interrupts by questioning whether they should commend Anirudh’s actions since he didn’t even acknowledge Jhanak or introduce her to his friends. Bipasha urges them all to move on from this discussion. Bharat then redirects their attention to the wedding ceremony, reminding them of the arrival of an experienced pandit. As Anirudh and Arshi exchange garlands, Jhanak observes with a heavy heart, reminiscing about her marriage. Anirudh also becomes lost in his thoughts about it and happens to catch a glimpse of Jhanak.
The pandit instructs Anirudh to place sindoor in Arshi’s hairline. The pandit halts and asks Anirudh if they have met before. Confused, Anirudh responds with a negative answer. Bipasha jumps in, explaining that they are from Kolkata and this is his first visit here. The pandit persists, claiming he never forgets a face and perhaps they crossed paths elsewhere. Shrishti chimes in to clarify that he is just a tourist. Seeing Jhanak, the pandit greets her and questions, why she isn’t wearing mangalsutra or sindoor like a married woman, should be. He adds that the man standing next to her looks familiar and seems to be the same person who married Jhanak.
Shrishti urges him to continue with Arshi’s wedding, but the pandit insists on clarifying Jhanak’s marital status first. Bharat interjects that Jhanak is single. Remembering clearly now, the pandit reveals that he had officiated Jhanak and Anirudh’s marriage. Anirudh speaks to the Pandit, acknowledging that he did indeed marry Jhanak, but explains that the marriage was not genuine. The Pandit questions how Anirudh could label their union as fake. To this, Anirudh clarifies that Tejas had been set to marry Jhanak and the two of them were forced into a compromise for their own safety. He emphasizes that they were acting out of fear and desperation, and believed it was the right course of action at the time.
However, the Pandit condemns their actions as a grave sin. Anirudh maintains that he married Jhanak solely to save her life, but his heart belongs to Arshi and he cannot deceive her. Jhanak also has feelings for someone else. Despite this, the Pandit insists that their marriage is legitimate and will always hold true. He declares that any further marriages involving them cannot take place. This revelation leaves Arshi in shock.
