In the next episode, Jhanak confronts Anirudh, seeking to discuss Arshi’s condition, unaware of the brewing storm against her. Jhanak quietly enters Anirudh’s room, looking worried. Anirudh, surprised to see her, asks why she’s there. She anxiously asks about Arshi’s condition. Anirudh warns her that if anyone sees her, it will cause a big scene. He finds it hard to believe she could hurt Arshi. He explains everyone now suspects her, and Shrishti has called the police.
Jhanak looks upset and explains that she didn’t mean for any of this to happen. Anirudh listens quietly, torn between concern for Arshi and the uncertain truth about Jhanak’s involvement. The room feels tense as they both struggle with the aftermath of the incident and its impact on their lives. Tanuja mentions that Shrishti is not the type to remain silent if something bad occurs. Anirudh adds that no one will stay quiet if anything happens to Arshi. Shubh brings up the fact that it could potentially be a case of attempted murder. Jhanak overhears their conversation and weeps silently. Bipasha expresses concern that Shrishti may believe they are protecting Jhanak by getting involved, and is likely aware of something. Tanuja then requests for her not to interrupt. Shubh advises Anirudh to listen as he is a lawyer, and reminds him that if Jhanak is indeed responsible, she should face consequences.
Anirudh confirms that if evidence proves her guilt, she will be punished. Lal points out that it’s uncertain when Arshi will be released from the hospital and therefore, the wedding got postponed. Anirudh explains that only when Arshi is well will they proceed with the marriage arrangements. Shubh states that they now have to inform the guests about the cancellation due to Jhanak’s interference in their ceremony where she set fire to her own sister. He continues noting how all of this unfolded while Anirudh was present and yet he fails to comprehend the situation at hand.
Anirudh is worried about the situation, as Shrishti has seen Jhanak and may inform the police. Tanuja pleads with him to not take Jhanak’s side and think of Arshi instead. Shubh expresses his shock at Jhanak’s actions and how it has affected Arshi both personally and professionally. The family is in disbelief over what has happened. Jhanak cries and leaves, causing Anirudh to worry even more. Despite his concerns, he still allows her into his room. However, he cautions her to be careful as Shrishti may have informed the police about seeing her. She questions if even he doubts her, to which he responds that everyone in the house does.
Jhanak expresses her desire to leave after marriage, while Anirudh reassures her that the wedding has not yet taken place and Shrishti is informing the police. He urges Jhanak to stay and face any consequences if she has done nothing wrong. Jhanak then inquires about Arshi’s condition and offers to donate blood if needed. However, Anirudh informs her that it is not necessary as her parents will make the decision. Jhanak insists on helping, explaining that Arshi is a dancer and her life would be greatly affected if her legs were injured. Anirudh confirms that she is indeed in a serious condition and will undergo surgery, but the doctor has advised against discharging her for at least 15 days.
Jhanak clarifies that she came to him specifically to check on Arshi’s well-being. Anirudh cautions her that Shrishti may involve the police if she gets involved in the matter. Jhanak firmly believes in exercising her own agency, even if it means accepting any punishment that may come from the police. Anirudh reiterates that there is no room for rejecting consequences. She expresses regret over not having anyone to stand up for her innocence, and also expresses sorrow over Arshi’s situation. He advises her to retire to her room, but she promises to pray for Arshi’s speedy recovery. She apologizes to him.
Anirudh believes that Jhanak would never intentionally harm anyone. Perhaps it was simply an accident and Shrishti is trying to make it a big case. Jhanak feels like she is being falsely accused and wants the police to investigate. Anirudh considers the possibility that she didn’t want the marriage to happen, but ultimately feels saddened by the situation and hopes she will be proven innocent. The next morning, Shubh informs the relatives over the phone about Arshi’s condition and apologizes for cancelling the wedding.
Shrishti telephones Tanuja to ask if Anirudh is at home. Tanuja informs her that he went to the hospital. Shrishti then states she will be coming over, and inquires if Jhanak is present. Tanuja confirms and inquires about her arrival time. Shrishti acknowledges and reveals that she won’t be arriving alone. Tanuja understands the situation and reassures her not to worry, as they are keeping a close watch on Jhanak. Shrishti declares that she will do everything in her power to protect Jhanak, regardless of any consequences, including possible objections from Anirudh. Tanuja reminds Shrishti that Anirudh deeply cares for Arshi. However, Shrishti emphasizes that Arshi is still trying to process everything that has happened and assures Tanuja that she knows her well enough to take appropriate measures when necessary.
Tanuja informs that Shrishti is not coming alone, as Appu comes and immediately asks for Anjana’s whereabouts, having seen police officers entering their house. Shrishti arrives with the police and Appu starts to protest, insisting that they are falsely accusing Jhanak. Bipasha wakes up Jhanak and tells her that guests have come to see her. Choton and Anjana learn the matter. Appu remains adamant about not going with the police, who seem intent on taking Jhanak away as well.
Bipasha urges Jhanak to face the reality, to which Jhanak insists that she never tells lies. However, Bipasha points out that she has been lying not only to them but also to the police, and it’s up to her whether she wants to continue doing so. The inspector then briefs Jhanak about the serious charges against her while Bipasha accuses her of being responsible for it. Shrishti pleads with him to arrest Jhanak. Jhanak maintains that it was an unintentional incident, but the inspector disagrees and proceeds to arrest her. Appu breaks down in tears and Jhanak resigns herself to whatever punishment is written in her fate.
