Anirudh consoles her and asks her to not believe Jhanak. Jhanak reminds Anirudh of their night spent in Srinagar. She asks Anirudh if he can deny the truth and refuse to accept the child. Jhanak says that she missed Appu a lot. She promises to stay back for Appu’s marriage. Appu says that she won’t let Jhanak go anywhere. Arshi packs her bags to leave. Anirudh stops her. She says that her past is clean and nobody can mention such allegations about her, but his past isn’t clean and he may be involved with Jhanak. He denies the allegation and accuses Jhanak of trying to ruin their relationship. She says that she will live at her mom’s place. Anirudh asks her to ignore Jhanak and her lies. She doesn’t want to sacrifice her self-respect. She says that she doesn’t tolerate this thing.
He says that he didn’t father Jhanak’s child, she is just jealous and trying to break his marriage. She asks him how can he deny it when he used to say Jhanak speaks the truth. He says that he was wrong about Jhanak. Anirudh has no memories of the night when he was ill and had Jhanak by his side for his care. He thinks Jhanak is pregnant with Aditya’s child, and she is framing him for revenge. Anirudh refuses to stand by Jhanak.
Jhanak expects him to support her when she knows Anirudh always stands by the truth. She knows he always stood by her against his family. She wishes he supported the truth even this time. Anirudh’s change in demeanor shocks Jhanak. He isn’t sure why Jhanak has come up with this news. He gets mad to think she is jealous and wants to ruin his happy life. He has no real happiness in his life, and still thinks Jhanak is complicating his life.
