Jhanak 9th September 2024 Written Update Justice for Lalon. Today in Jhanak, Anjana is quite baffled by the situation. As a result of Lalon’s arrest on his wedding day, both she and Bablu are heartbroken over their daughter’s cancelled marriage. Tanuja and Shubh express their disapproval of Lalon’s character, believing him to be involved in criminal activities. On the other hand, Appu’s parents refuse to believe that Lalon could be capable of such actions. Therefore, they decide to accompany him to the police station. As Jhanak confidently promises to clear Lalon’s name within a few hours, she also boldly confronts Tanuja to prove that there is no fault in Lalon’s character. Anirudh too supports Lalon.
Appu, heartbroken on her wedding day, breaks down in tears but is encouraged to remain strong until justice can be brought for Lalon. The villagers from Lalon’s neighborhood also gather and protest at the police station. Upon bringing Lalon to the police station, the interrogation about the recent incident ensued. Despite repeated questioning, he adamantly denied any wrongdoing with anyone. Meanwhile, the residents of the nearby slum began protesting. Upon their arrival at the police station, Jhanak immediately takes action against the officers. Anuradha reveals that his father was a highly esteemed lawyer, well-known and respected in society.
However, he suffered from betrayal by a close friend and ultimately went bankrupt. Shubh becomes concerned after hearing Anuradha’s words but chooses not to disclose the truth to anyone. Shubh initially decides to speak with the police alone, but Janak grows suspicious and forbids him from going separately with the officer. As a family, they all enter the police station in hopes of seeking justice for Lalon. Janak takes charge and begins discussing the entire case with the inspector, emphasizing Lalon’s innocence and lack of involvement in any illicit activities.
Together, they plea with the officer to release Lalon or else risk damaging his marriage. Anuradha chimes in, mentioning her late husband who was well-respected in the community. Then, unexpectedly, the police officer plays a recorded phone call between Shubh and himself where Shubh asks for assistance in breaking Appu and Lalon’s marriage. This recording exposes Shubh’s true intentions – to intentionally cause harm to Appu and Lalon’s relationship. Anirudh and Jhanak appear shocked.
