He shares how he was concerned when he couldn’t find her and promises never to let her be alone again. Though Vaiju initially hesitates, feeling shy and unsure, she’s visibly touched by his sentiment. Ranvijay notices her hesitation and apologizes for his past scolding, hoping to ease her discomfort. Still feeling a bit self-conscious, Vaiju is about to step back, but Ranvijay gently takes her hand himself, reassuring her. Together, they walk hand in hand, recalling the precious memories they’ve created so far, as the song “Hasi Ban Gaye” plays in the background, adding a tender note to their moment.
Meanwhile, Rao Saheb informs Ranvijay’s family that a clip from Vaiju’s recent interview has been uploaded online. In the video, Vaiju is seen responding to a question about her marital status, and her answer, stating that she is married, sparks immediate confusion. Jaya watches the clip, shocked by Vaiju’s statement, and starts to wonder why Vaiju would keep such important news from them. She questions why Vaiju never mentioned anything about being married if it were true, and this ignites a wave of curiosity and suspicion within the family. Ragini, another family member, also voices disbelief, saying Vaiju surely would have informed them if she were married.
In the meantime, Ranvijay and Vaiju share a quiet moment. Vaiju is about to remove her mangalsutra and wipe away the vermillion on her forehead, symbols that she wears only as an offering to her faith rather than as symbols of a marriage. But before she can go through with it, Ranvijay stops her. He urges her to face the truth about their relationship and challenges her to accept it openly. Vaiju is visibly conflicted, and Ranvijay’s intensity leaves her speechless.
Just then, Jaya, who has come to the area with the entire family in hopes of surprising Vaiju, spots Ranvijay standing alone. She approaches him, and he is stunned to see her there unexpectedly. Flashbacks show Vaiju stepping away briefly to change her clothes, leaving Ranvijay on his own when Jaya finds him. When she questions him about his presence there, Ranvijay tries to cover up, telling her they were simply returning to Jhumri Patan. Jaya, however, isn’t convinced, and she insists on meeting Vaiju to clarify things, as she has pressing questions after seeing the interview.
Shortly after, Vaiju reappears, having removed her mangalsutra and wiped her vermillion, and she’s surprised to find Jaya waiting for her with the rest of Ranvijay’s family. Vasundhara, another family member, expresses joy over Vaiju’s apparent happiness, thinking there’s a celebration in store. Jaya confronts Vaiju, accusing her of hiding her marital status from them. She demands to know why Vaiju didn’t tell them she was married, assuming that Vaiju was trying to keep it a secret from the family. Ranvijay tries to intervene, but Jaya pushes for answers, prompting Vasundhara to echo her confusion, questioning Vaiju’s honesty.
In an attempt to clear up the misunderstanding, Ranvijay plays the complete interview clip for the family, where Vaiju clarifies that the vermillion she wears is solely for religious reasons and not as a mark of marriage. This clarification provides some relief, but Jaya remains suspicious, asking Vaiju why she didn’t clarify things more assertively when the interviewer initially posed the question. Ranvijay defends Vaiju, reminding Jaya that her assumptions are misplaced and that Vaiju isn’t obligated to explain herself to everyone. Jaya, annoyed at Ranvijay’s defense of Vaiju, questions why he’s suddenly acting as her protector. This exchange escalates, and Jaya warns Vaiju to stop wearing vermillion if it’s misleading others.
To avoid further tension, Ranvijay tells the family that Aaji is currently away on a pilgrimage, implying that there’s no need for the family to prolong their stay. He proposes that they all return to Bhoomipur, hoping to put an end to the uncomfortable situation. Later that evening, he makes a heartfelt promise to Vaiju, pledging to make her feel special in every way. He tells her he plans to cook moti roti for her, a gesture of his care and affection, which touches Vaiju.
Just as they’re sharing this tender moment, Jaya arrives and interrupts, instructing Vaiju to go and rest instead. Ranvijay asks Vaiju to stay and join him for dinner, but Jaya firmly insists that Vaiju should go. The episode closes with this tense dynamic lingering between the three, leaving Vaiju caught between Ranvijay’s affection and Jaya’s cold insistence on keeping her at a distance.
