Rohit responds by cautioning her that one day, her fears may indeed come true if she continues harboring resentment. He points out that her constant need for control and suspicion might drive everyone away, including him. Realizing her mistake, Ruhi becomes introspective, but her bitterness resurfaces when she recalls how she believes Abhira’s mother, Akshara, ruined her own childhood. Fueled by these memories, Ruhi decides to seek revenge by ensuring Abhira’s happiness is compromised, particularly when it comes to her baby. She harbors jealousy over the love Abhira’s baby might receive, thinking it should be her own child who’s more cherished.
Later, when Abhira refuses to share prasad with Ruhi, tensions erupt into an argument. Abhira accuses Ruhi of holding onto old grudges, but Ruhi vehemently insists that Abhira’s mother’s actions deprived her of a happy childhood, and she can’t stand to see Abhira experiencing joy now. The argument escalates, and in a moment of frustration, Abhira raises her hand toward Ruhi. In retaliation, Ruhi wishes ill for Abhira’s unborn child, leaving Abhira troubled.
Five months pass, and Abhira and Armaan are excited to inaugurate their newly renovated room, arranged by Kaveri. During the celebration, Abhira has a disturbing dream where her future son and Ruhi’s daughter are engaged in conflict, reflecting her unease about the growing rift between her and Ruhi. Armaan notices her distress and reassures her, lifting her spirits. They happily admire the room, especially a picture of their childhood, which Kaveri displays with hopes that Abhira’s baby will inherit qualities from both parents.
As Abhira prepares for motherhood, Vidya, trying to be helpful, offers old clothes to Ruhi for her baby, explaining that using old clothes is considered safer for newborns. When Vidya mentions she has kept some clothes aside for Abhira’s baby, Ruhi grows resentful, feeling that Abhira’s child is again being prioritized. This resentment only deepens her desire to overshadow Abhira’s happiness.
At work, Charu decides to take on one of Abhira’s clients, planning to prove herself. Armaan supports Charu’s ambitions, suggesting she could eventually fill Abhira’s role at the firm. Abhira is supportive, too, as she wants to see Charu’s professional growth. Meanwhile, Kaveri prepares a baby shower for both Abhira and Ruhi, aiming to bridge the gap between them. Despite her efforts, Vidya is hesitant when blessing Abhira’s baby, subtly favoring Ruhi’s child. This upsets Ruhi, feeling that her child still isn’t receiving enough attention. The baby shower ends with Abhira and Ruhi leaving their footprints on a cloth together as a symbol of the shared celebration.
However, Abhira becomes alarmed after sensing that her baby isn’t moving and urgently calls Armaan, filled with anxiety about her child’s well-being. In the next episode, Kaveri and Vidya receive troubling news. It gets revealed that only one of the two babies may survive, leaving them devastated and uncertain about how to handle the news.
