Udne Ki Aasha 7th January 2025 Written Update. Tejas recalls how he got a job. He visits a restaurant seeking a job. The manager explains the job details, and Tejas, having no other options, reluctantly agrees to work as a waiter. However, he chooses not to disclose this to Sachin or other family members. When Sachin and Sayali question him about his new job, Roshni intervenes, asserting that they have no right to interrogate Tejas. Sayali, feeling insulted, becomes angry at both Tejas and Roshni, accusing them of belittling her for running a small business. Sachin begins to suspect that Tejas might have taken a low-profile job, which is why he is being secretive about it.
Roshni tactfully avoids Sayali and Sachin’s probing but congratulates Tejas on his new job. Tejas, however, worries that if Sachin ever discovers the truth, his respect within the family will be shattered. Later, when Renuka and Roshni show curiosity about his work, Tejas exaggerates the details to impress his parents and wife.
At night, when Tejas returns to his room, Roshni once again questions him about his new company. Tejas, visibly uncomfortable, forbids her from asking further questions, acknowledging that his job doesn’t match his qualifications. While he doesn’t disclose the complete truth, he admits that his work isn’t as great or respectable as they might think.
Meanwhile, a customer visits Sayali’s flower shop and notices that she is wearing a black thread instead of jewelry. Sayali fabricates an explanation and exaggerates her relationship with Renuka to save face. Paresh, observing this exchange from the terrace, notices Renuka coming outside and berating Sayali for neglecting household chores in the morning. Paresh intervenes, rebuking Renuka for her tormenting behavior and forbidding her from mistreating Sayali. He recounts the incident and insists that Renuka return Sayali’s jewelry. However, Renuka criticizes Sayali further, comparing her to the other daughters-in-law and belittling her poor background.
Hurt by the constant criticism, Sayali refuses to take the jewelry from her mother-in-law, valuing her self-respect more. Sachin arrives and supports his wife, defending her against Renuka’s scorn. Despite the tension, Sayali silently hopes that her husband will one day gift her a mangalsutra of her own.
Renuka, however, continues to disrespect Sachin for his meager income. As a taxi driver with limited earnings, Sachin struggles to afford a gold chain for Sayali. The emotional strain of these interactions highlights the challenges faced by the family, as they navigate their relationships and societal expectations.
