Kumkum Bhagya 16th January 2025 Written Update. The episode opens with a nurse calling Purvi to confirm whether the injections for RV have arrived. Purvi, ever the responsible one, assures the nurse that the injections are in the box next to RV’s bed. With her task done, Purvi plans to head home on time. The nurse agrees, setting the stage for what’s about to unfold.
RV and Yug arrive home, only to be greeted by Deepika, who informs RV that Harleen is calling for him. RV heads to Harleen’s room, leaving the others to their own devices. Meanwhile, Monisha, perpetually on edge, learns from Deepika that Neha hasn’t shown up and feels a temporary wave of relief. But her peace is short-lived when Dushyant calls with an ominous update. His man has spotted Neha alive and, to Monisha’s horror, the girl who saved her matches Purvi’s description. Dushyant warns Monisha to tread carefully, suspecting Purvi might have some incriminating evidence. Monisha agrees, clearly rattled.
Later, the nurse arrives at RV’s house, asking Monisha and Deepika where RV is. Monisha takes charge and escorts the nurse to RV’s room but remains visibly distracted. Monisha, preoccupied with her spiraling plans, retreats to her own room. Just then, Purvi approaches Monisha for assistance with RV. Monisha, suspicious but cornered, asks what help is needed.
Meanwhile, Dushyant and his man locate Neha at a bus stop. What follows is a new low, even for Dushyant. His man stages a scene by forcing Neha to stab him with a knife, then dramatically calls nearby police officers. Neha is taken into custody while Dushyant pretends to rush his “injured” man to the hospital. It’s a theatrical performance, but the stakes are deadly real.
Back at the mansion, Purvi asks Monisha to stay with the nurse while she injects RV, citing kitchen duties. Monisha, clueless about Purvi’s ulterior motives, agrees. As Monisha leaves, Purvi seizes the opportunity to search Monisha’s room. Remembering Yug’s tip-off, she discovers Monisha’s bank passbook and finds evidence of money transactions to Neha. Bingo!
But the moment is short-lived. Monisha catches Purvi red-handed and demands to know why she’s snooping. Purvi, in a bold move, confronts Monisha about her shady dealings. She reveals that Neha has spilled the beans and she has a video confession to back it up. However, Purvi acknowledges that the video alone might not suffice to expose Monisha. Armed with evidence from the passbook, Purvi declares her intent to bring Monisha down. Monisha, unfazed, smugly declares Purvi powerless even with proof. (Ah, the classic villain overconfidence.)
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the mansion, Harleen confides in Vikrant, revealing that someone attempted to kill her. Vikrant is alarmed, realizing her recent accident wasn’t so accidental. Harman, feeling betrayed by Harleen’s initial silence, comments on how he had to force her to reveal the truth by swearing on their love. Harleen, clearly unsettled, reacts defensively.
Back in the showdown, Monisha proves she isn’t going down without a fight. She snatches the passbook from Purvi and burns it in a dramatic flourish. If that weren’t enough, she grabs Purvi’s phone and destroys it as well. Monisha gloats, believing she has neutralized all threats. But Purvi, undeterred, vows to retrieve her phone’s data and access Monisha’s transaction details online. Monisha, ever the actress, feigns desperation and begs Purvi to let it go, all while stalling for time. At precisely 9:30 pm, Monisha drops the act, coldly dismisses Purvi, and plots her next move. In her mind, she’s already strategizing her “new game,” confident she will emerge victorious.
