And then there’s Rahi, who refuses to believe her mother’s truth and blindly clings to Prem like he’s the last honest man standing on Earth. Her naivety would’ve been tolerable if it didn’t feel so forced, just to prolong the tension unnecessarily. Prem’s half-hearted nod when asked about his real identity feels like the cherry on top of his spineless character arc. He goes from being a supposed “saarthi” to a complete fraud in record time, and his excuses are as weak as his actions.

Anupama is all fire and brimstone after her meeting with Parag Kothari. She assumes Parag has called to apologize for past wrongs, but instead, he doubles down on his unapologetic attitude. Furious, Anupama calls Prem a liar after this encounter with his father. Venting to Rahi, she recounts Parag’s audacity in calling them “gold diggers” and expressing his wish for Prem to come home solo—no strings, and certainly no Rahi. Anupama, in full protective mode, vows she won’t tolerate any accusations against Rahi and demands Prem leave the house immediately.
But Prem isn’t about to walk out without dropping a bombshell. He stays to confess the truth about his concealed identity. Anupama is left shell-shocked as Prem reveals he considers her his mother and agreed to engage Mahi out of duty, despite being in love with Rahi. He even declares his hatred for his father, Parag. Anupama, unwilling to believe him, accuses Prem of betrayal. Prem insists he wanted to reveal the truth but was caught up in circumstances. He admits to being a Kothari but maintains he’s never crossed the line. Anupama, however, refuses to let him off the hook so easily.
The drama escalates as Rahi, feeling utterly betrayed, asks Prem to leave. But Hasmuk intervenes, insisting that Prem stay and finish what he started. Meanwhile, Baa, in full “family fixer” mode, confronts Parag, demanding he bring Prem back. Parag refuses, but Baa reminds him of his rebellious youth, when he married against her wishes. She urges him to deal with Prem calmly, claiming the Shahs have already influenced Prem. Determined, Baa takes it upon herself to reunite the family.
Back at the house, Rahi demands answers from Prem. She’s hurt and accuses him of failing to be honest. Leela tries to calm her down, but Rahi retorts that she’s already too hurt for any further damage. Despite his best efforts, Prem’s explanations fall flat, and Rahi accuses him of breaking her trust.
Meanwhile, Baa pushes Parag to accept Prem and Rahi, even suggesting he swallow his pride for the sake of the family. Parag, naturally, is confused about how to handle the situation. Prem, on the other hand, compares his mistakes to Rahi’s. Rahi, unimpressed, snaps back that she has never betrayed anyone. Prem regrets his poor choice of words and desperately pleads with her to hear him out.
In another corner of the drama web, Gautam confronts Prathana about her loyalty. He accuses her of siding with Rahi and Anupama, rather than helping sort out Prem and Parag’s differences. Prathana, frustrated, insists that she only wants Prem to return because she feels safe when he’s around. Elsewhere, Neeta speculates that Baa will never accept Prem and Rahi, while Anil steps in to defend Prem. Raja, seizing the chaos as an opportunity, plots to take over the Kothari business. Anil, however, aligns himself with Parag, much to Neeta’s delight. Anil assures everyone that Prem will eventually return home, though the circumstances remain murky at best.
In the final moments, Prem, desperate to salvage his relationship, accuses Rahi of making a mistake by not letting him finish his side of the story. The episode ends with emotions running high and the future uncertain.
