Kumkum Bhagya 22nd January 2025 Written Update. The episode begins with Monisha channeling her inner evil mastermind as she gloats to Purvi about her devious plan. In a speech straight out of a villain’s playbook, Monisha reveals that she bribed Neha with Rs 50 lakhs to switch sides and spill all of Purvi’s secrets. She plans to kill Purvi and pin the entire crime on Neha. Monisha drags Purvi away, leaving no stone unturned in ensuring her moment of triumph is soaked in gasoline—literally.
Meanwhile, RV confronts Jasbir, who decides a gun is the best way to make his point. Jasbir, proving he has the aim of a stormtrooper, manages to miss RV entirely and instead shoots a lady cop. Clearly not in the mood to deal with the consequences, Jasbir flees the scene, leaving a trail of chaos behind him.
Back with Monisha, she ups the ante by dousing Purvi in gasoline and declaring her intention to frame Neha for the murder. Cornered, Jasbir grabs Khushi and uses her as a human shield, threatening RV to stay back. Khushi, in a move that’s equal parts brave and reckless, whispers for Jasbir to push her into the Lohri fire so he can escape. Taking her at her word, Jasbir shoves her toward the flames, but RV steps in to save her at the last second. Because what’s a soap without a life-threatening moment during a festive celebration?
Khushi, ever the opportunist, uses the moment to profess her undying love for RV. Clearly unimpressed, RV leaves her hanging—both figuratively and emotionally. The Malhotra family, banging on the locked door, falls right into her trap as she gloats about Purvi’s impending doom. Monisha’s over-the-top antics might be ridiculous, but they’re undeniably effective in pushing her twisted agenda forward.
