Bhagya Lakshmi 24th January 2025 Written Update. The episode kicks off with Kiran and Malishka scheming about the necklace, because apparently, plotting over jewelry is the height of villainy. Kiran declares that Varsha has stolen the necklace and it’s time to execute their “master plan.” Malishka, clearly inspired by a 90s soap opera, insists they need to make everyone believe the necklace is crucial and pretend they’re actually going to retrieve it. You know, because manipulating people over a shiny accessory is totally worth all this effort.
Kiran approaches Neelam, Karishma, and Aanchal with a dramatic tale about how Malishka is losing sleep over the necklace. Karishma, ever the skeptic, asks why Malishka is so worried. Kiran claims that Malishka believes all her bad luck stems from not wearing the necklace, which honestly sounds like the setup for a bad horror movie. Aanchal and Kiran head off to fetch the magical necklace, while everyone else looks mildly confused.
Meanwhile, Rishi decides to turn on the romance by announcing to Lakshmi that their seven rounds are complete. In an overly sentimental moment, he takes out the sindoor and tells her she’s the only one who has the right to wear it. Lakshmi gets emotional, because how could she not with that level of cheesiness? Rishi promises to win back her trust, and everyone claps like it’s the season finale of a reality show. Harleen and Rano bless them, because apparently, forgiveness comes with applause now.
Elsewhere, Anushka regains consciousness and immediately goes into panic mode. She realizes the door is locked and starts worrying like she’s in a low-budget escape room. Her attempts to contact Neel are thwarted by a bad network because, of course, no TV drama is complete without conveniently poor signal reception. Neel finally answers her call, and she frantically tells him to rescue her. Neel agrees, and Anushka provides directions to Rishi’s room like she’s hosting a GPS service.
Back at the Lohri celebrations, Ayush decides to go rogue and drags Shalu into taking rounds around the fire. Shalu is understandably confused, but Ayush insists she trust him, because nothing says “trust me” like impulsively tying someone to a ritual. Karishma freaks out and tries to stop them, but the priest drops a random rule about how it’s “inauspicious” to stop a Pooja once it’s started. Neelam and Karishma reluctantly back off, proving once again that priests in TV shows have more authority than actual family members.
Meanwhile, Neel shows up to free Anushka. The two make a hasty escape, while Kiran and Aanchal arrive at the room only to find it in complete chaos. Kiran, channeling her inner detective, declares that the necklace has been stolen. No kidding, Kiran.
In another corner of this tangled mess, Neel reveals his brilliant revenge plan against the Oberois. He calls his friend Pankaj, who conveniently owns fake inspector clothes (because everyone needs a friend like that), and texts him the details. Anushka looks concerned, but Neel assures her to “trust the process,” because what’s a revenge plot without vague reassurances?
Back at the Lohri fire, Ayush finishes the rounds and asks the priest for confirmation. The priest gives the green light, and Shalu, still bewildered, asks what comes next. Ayush cryptically replies that he’s doing what he should have done a long time ago. Dramatic? Yes. Clear? Not even a little.
