The slow pan to the picture, the dramatic cleaning of the frame, and the affection Vidya shows all scream “filler content.” Armaan smiling while Vidya embraces him feels like the writers ran out of ideas and decided to throw in some clichéd emotional bonding moments to keep the episode from collapsing under its weight.
And the precap questions? Absolutely ridiculous. The writers are trying to tease a connection between RK, Armaan, and Abhira as if the audience couldn’t already see it coming a mile away. The idea of Abhira bringing Armaan’s “real mother” to the Poddar house is such a tired trope—how many times will the show hinge its drama on surprise family revelations? Instead of moving the story forward, it’s stuck in a loop of poorly executed twists, unnecessary confrontations, and melodramatic filler scenes that insult the audience’s intelligence. Abhira is convinced the universe woke up on the wrong side of the bed just to ruin her day. First, she has to walk to court without the luxury of an auto. Then, RK decides to casually hand over his case to another lawyer, leaving Abhira fuming. When confronted, RK shrugs it off, claiming money matters more than sticking to his word. Abhira, understandably outraged, questions his competence. RK boasts he can beat Armaan Poddar in court, but his priorities scream otherwise. Meanwhile, Abhira is gearing up to defend Armaan. Awkward much?
RK’s phone buzzes with a call from a mysterious woman, and he promptly dodges Abhira like a pro. Adding salt to her wounds, Abhira spots Kaveri at court, only to be coldly ignored. Cue existential crisis: Abhira regrets teaming up with RK. On the domestic front, Manisha whips up a questionable meal for Krish, Aryan, and Armaan. Armaan, being the unfiltered critic, calls her out for ruining perfectly good food. Manisha, not one to take unsolicited advice, claps back, but Vidya’s interruption shifts the chaos.
