Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 24th January 2025 Written Update Adrija’s antics. The episode starts with Ranbir bubbling with excitement, sharing it all with Meghla like an over-enthusiastic puppy. Meghla, trying to keep it cool, tells him to eat something, but nope—Ranbir insists on eating only if Meghla joins him. Cue Meghla’s announcement that she’s fasting for the rituals. And what does Ranbir do? He decides to fast too, because apparently, starving together equals romance. Meghla questions his logic, but Ranbir just teases her, triggering the classic “reluctant smile” trope. Ranbir then tries his hand at giving Meghla advice, but she brushes him off with a polite “it’ll take time,” as if she’s waiting for a customer service ticket to resolve.
Enter Harman and Simran, ready to amp up the teasing. Harman wastes no time pulling Ranbir’s leg for spending too much time with Meghla. Param and Arjun jump in to add to the peanut gallery, with Arjun randomly throwing in compliments for Meghla’s “performance.” He interrogates the couple about their food situation and fasting rituals, clearly forgetting that Bengali wedding fasting isn’t breaking news. When Ranbir proudly declares he’s fasting too, everyone bursts into laughter, because apparently, self-inflicted hunger is comedy gold. Meghla smiles again, because what else can she do?
Meanwhile, Meghla arrives at her house with Mahua and the guests, and the scene shifts into “let’s gossip” mode. Mahua, trying to play the perfect host, asks the guests to help with the evening arrangements, but instead, they label Meghla as the villain who “snatched” Adrija’s happiness. Because why enjoy a wedding when you can be judgmental? Mahua tries to shut them down, but it’s too late—the rumor mill is running at full speed. Adrija makes her dramatic entry, fuming as soon as she hears the marriage is official. Of course, this leads to yet another round of guests bashing Meghla while Mahua stands there looking helpless.
Adrija, clearly auditioning for the title of Most Dramatic Sister, confronts Meghla with weird questions about Ranbir. Did he compliment Meghla? No? Well, he used to compliment me! (Because that’s relevant.) Then, Adrija hits Meghla with a sinister warning about Ranbir’s “player” tendencies, casually planting seeds of doubt. Meghla, confused and slightly panicked, just stares in silence. Mahua swoops in to scold Adrija for skipping food and drags her off for a meal, but not before Adrija takes a swipe at Meghla’s fasting decision, trying to guilt-trip her into breaking it. Nice try, Adrija, but Meghla stands her ground.
Later, Adrija ramps up the tension by cryptically advising Meghla to avoid keeping secrets from Ranbir. Meghla, now a ball of anxiety, begs Adrija to spill the beans, but Adrija plays the classic villain card: Wait till evening. Because why not prolong the suspense? Mahua returns to the guests, who resume their endless chatter about pre-wedding drama. Adrija puts on a fake act defending Meghla, earning Mahua’s praise and even a blessing. Behind that sweet facade, Adrija vows to destroy Meghla’s happiness by revealing a “secret” that will ruin her marriage. The slow clap practically writes itself.
Meghla, looking like a nervous wreck, recalls Adrija’s vague threats. Adrija storms in, ready to drag Meghla off and expose her “true identity” to the Bajwa family. Let the chaos continue.
