Anupama 27th January 2025 Written Update Shahs arrival. The episode starts with Prem thinking about Parag and their ever-complicated relationship. Rahi sits down with Prem and questions him on why he’s punishing the entire family just because of Parag’s actions. Rahi tells Prem to look at things from Parag’s perspective for once and stop holding grudges. She informs Prem that Parag has invited him for lunch, but Prem immediately gets suspicious, calling the offer “fishy.”
Rahi defends Parag, saying he genuinely wants his son back. She then adds that she already asked Anupama to accept the lunch invite, which doesn’t sit well with Prem. He refuses to go to the Kotharis but later agrees after Rahi assures him that it’s not about marriage—it’s about moving forward in life. Rahi promises to convince the Kotharis that she and Prem are not ready for marriage yet, as they want to focus on their careers. However, Prem warns Rahi that if Parag dares to insult her or Anupama, he won’t stay quiet.
Meanwhile, the Kotharis gear up for the Shah family’s arrival. Gautam shares his doubts with Prathana, saying Prem doesn’t like him and probably doesn’t even want to come back. Prathana stays optimistic, hoping Rahi will manage to bring Prem back into the fold. Parag, on the other hand, casually tells Vasundhara that the Shahs are coming but not Anupama—clearly hiding his disappointment. Baa, being Baa, is busy preparing for the “big welcome,” as if it’s a royal event.
Elsewhere, Anupama is restless and confides in Jhanki. She admits she doesn’t fully trust Parag or the Kotharis’ intentions, especially when it comes to Prem. On the other side, Prem vents his own doubts to Anupama, calling his family “complicated.” The two share a rare moment of mutual frustration over the unpredictable situation.
At the Shah house, Pakhi turns the pre-lunch prep into a full-blown fashion show. She demands Mahi find “fancy outfits” to make a statement. Leela smugly adds that the Kotharis need to know the Shahs’ worth. Pakhi even tells Ishani to “honey-trap” Raja into liking her (yes, really). Ishani, annoyed, replies that she’s not even interested in marriage, but Pakhi insists she follows her “master plan.”
Meanwhile, Paritosh (because, of course, it’s Paritosh) is all about showing off. He starts planning his social media post and decides to buy a fancy lily bouquet for the Kotharis, like that’s going to solve anything.
Back at Anupama’s place, Radha notices her uneasiness and suggests she flip a coin to make up her mind. (Because that’s totally how life-altering decisions are made, right?) Anupama eventually decides to go to the lunch after all.
The Shahs finally get ready for the Kothari showdown—I mean, lunch. But as usual, Pakhi and Anupama clash. Pakhi insists on wearing over-the-top outfits to “prove their worth,” while Anupama argues that simplicity speaks louder than extravagance. Their little argument ends when Pakhi drops the bombshell that Parag sent cars to pick them up.
Ahead in the show, Baa welcomes the Shahs, but not without snark. Prem feels uneasy about Anupama being there. Meanwhile, Baa’s judgmental side makes an appearance as she declares her disdain for divorcees. Parag adds fuel to the fire by taunting Anupama about her divorce.
