Anupama 7th March 2025 Written Update: Rahi’s New Journey. Today in Anupama written update, Kartik calls Anupama out of the blue with a rather unexpected request—he wants her to prepare food for the prisoners. Because nothing says fine dining like feeding convicts, right? Anupama, caught off guard, responds with a practical observation: prisoners usually cook for themselves. But Kartik, ever the informer, enlightens her that food is also prepared from outside. He extends an invitation, hinting at a deeper agenda. Anupama, baffled yet again by the bizarre turns her life takes, decides to brush it off and refocus on the wedding at hand—Rahi’s, to be precise.
Meanwhile, Vasundhara is practically bouncing with excitement. It’s Prem’s wedding, after all, and she fully intends to steal the show with her dance moves. Badshah, in true troublemaker mode, teases Baa, noting her reluctance to shake a leg. Baa, always ready with a sharp retort, declares that she simply isn’t a fan of other dance forms—translation: if it’s not her way, it’s the wrong way. Meanwhile, Leela is more focused on traditions than entertainment, instructing Rahi to light lamps in the house. Ansh, ever the sentimentalist, asks Rahi to record her voice so they can play it whenever they miss her—because why settle for memories when you can have a personal podcast of your sister? In response, Rahi drops a bombshell—she’s already been recording all of the Shahs. Congratulations, family, you’ve been living in an audio reality show without knowing it. Then, in a moment of maturity, Rahi entrusts Anupama’s responsibility to Leela and Hasmuk, making sure her mother isn’t left alone amidst all the chaos.
And chaos is exactly what unfolds as Prem’s baraat arrives. The Kotharis are buzzing with energy, fully prepared to make an entrance with extra levels of celebration. The Shahs brace themselves for the madness, but the Kotharis have one rule: no one is stepping inside until they’ve celebrated outside first. Rahi, the bride, is overjoyed but also low-key annoyed. She watches from her room, frustrated that Leela has decided to keep her locked away. It’s her own wedding, yet she feels like Rapunzel in her tower. Meanwhile, Gautam, ever the mischief-maker, finds creative ways to trouble Prathana, because what’s a wedding without a little unnecessary drama?
While everyone else is busy, Rahi glances at herself and realizes her makeup and hair have suffered the consequences of her enthusiasm. In a classic bride mode activated moment, she rushes to fix it. Meanwhile, Anupama steps into the limelight, performing a ritual with Prem, making sure he understands its importance—because nothing escapes Anupama’s life lessons department. After she’s done, Pakhi takes over, and the Shahs proceed to warmly welcome the Kotharis. But amidst all the smiles and traditions, Gautam is still holding onto his personal grudge agenda. He blatantly gives Anupama the cold shoulder, making it clear that he’s not over whatever offense he has taken. Anupama, however, decides not to let his attitude ruin the moment. For once, she wants to enjoy herself before Rahi bids her farewell.
Just when things seem to be going smoothly, Rahi, caught up in her excitement, falls. Yes, the bride takes an unexpected tumble—hopefully just a minor one. Meanwhile, the Kotharis, oblivious to the potential chaos brewing, shower praise on the Shahs for their impeccable arrangements. Prem, the groom, takes a moment to address Anuj’s absence in a surprisingly poetic way. He stands before Anuj’s picture and recites poetry—because if there’s one thing weddings need, it’s a dose of emotional nostalgia. Parag, however, isn’t feeling the sentimental vibes. Instead, he’s stressing over Anupama’s potential interference in Rahi and Prem’s relationship. But before he can spiral into a full-blown panic, Khyati steps in, backing Anupama up. She argues that Anupama isn’t like other mothers—cue the Main Alag Hoon moment. Parag, still skeptical, just hopes that Khyati’s faith isn’t misplaced.
While all this is happening, Ansh, Hasmuk, and Paritosh discuss Gautam’s attitude problem. Hasmuk, ever the wise elder, points out that Gautam is practically walking around with an ego the size of the wedding venue. Anil and Meeta happen to overhear this but choose to take it lightly—probably for the best, considering how much drama is already brewing. Elsewhere, Badshah tries to flirt with Radha, only to be completely ignored. Ouch. Meanwhile, Anupama, lost in her own thoughts, wonders if she’s missing something—spoiler alert: it’s Anuj, because when is she not thinking about him?
Vasundhara, riding high on her elite status, approaches Anupama with what seems like a grand responsibility. She hands over a special wedding sheet, making it clear that this isn’t just any ordinary fabric—it’s practically a sacred relic at this point. But because no big moment is complete without some level of risk, Paritosh volunteers to take care of it. Anupama, knowing full well that Paritosh and responsibility don’t mix well, gives him the mom stare and warns him to be extra careful.
Just as she prepares to focus on Rahi, Leela assigns her another crucial task—bringing the bride to the mandap. Seems simple enough, right? Wrong. Because when Anupama reaches Rahi’s room, she is shocked by what she sees. And just like that, we have our cliffhanger.
Episode Ends.
Precap:
And if you thought the wedding was the biggest drama, think again. Gautam, apparently determined to be the villain of the hour, tortures Prathana. Ansh, proving he’s got more courage than most, rushes to rescue her. But Gautam, in peak alpha male mode, dismisses him as just a lover boy and even has the audacity to hit him. That’s when Anupama steps in, fully channeling her Sherni energy. She stands by Ansh, threatens Gautam, and makes one thing clear—she will expose him.
