Anupama 8th March 2025 Written Update: Rahi-Prem’s Wedding. Today in Anupama written update, the episode starts with Anupama’s shock upon seeing Rahi, while Prem is growing increasingly impatient, wondering why Rahi is taking so long. Anil, ever the comic relief, teases Prem, reminding him that as the bride, Rahi is expected to take her sweet time. Pari jumps in with a sassy remark, pointing out that Prem is blushing even more than Rahi, as if he’s the one about to walk down the aisle. Ishani adds to the humor, joking that Prem will need an OTP verification to finally see his bride. Prem, fully embracing his lovestruck persona, declares that he can endure anything for Rahi and asks what he must do to see her. Mahi tells him to wait just a little longer, which seems like a lifetime for the eager groom.
Meanwhile, Khyati voices concern about Rahi’s delay, fearing that something might be wrong. Ansh, ever the proactive one, decides to check on her. Pari, in her usual dramatic fashion, predicts that Prem will cry upon seeing Rahi. This prompts Baa to ask why on earth Prem would cry, to which Leela responds with an amusing take on modern gender roles—apparently, in today’s world of equality, even grooms have the right to get teary-eyed. Pari further adds that it’s a growing trend for grooms to get emotional when they see their brides, because why should brides have all the sentimental moments?
Inside, Anupama worries about Rahi, who then calls out for help, revealing that she has fallen. Anupama, naturally, panics and asks if she’s okay. Rahi reassures her and, after a dramatic pause, Anupama helps her get up and escorts her to Prem. But before Prem can have his moment, Ansh, Mahi, Rahi, and Ishani demand shagun before unveiling Rahi’s face. Parag, perhaps flexing his financial muscles, casually decides to give one lakh rupees to each of them. Ansh, however, clarifies that the demand was just a fun tradition and insists they only take what’s necessary. Finally, the moment arrives—Prem and Rahi see each other and immediately get lost in a romantic haze, reminiscing about their past. Ansh, unable to control his emotions, also gets teary-eyed, making Pari’s prediction come true.

Meanwhile, Prathana assists Ansh and takes a moment to remind everyone that Prem was emotional at her wedding too. This, of course, irks Gautam, who seethes at the sight of Prathana and Ansh together. The show then switches gears to a classic wedding tradition—stealing the groom’s shoe. Ishani, Pari, Mahi, Radha, and Ansh plot to steal Prem’s shoe, while the ever-vigilant Kotharis vow to protect it. In an unexpected turn, someone manages to grab the shoe, leading to more chaos. Meanwhile, Prathana, always trying to be helpful, offers assistance to Jhanki, who flatly refuses, stating that they cannot accept her help. Prathana, undeterred, still helps Ansh, which fuels Gautam’s anger even more.
As the wedding rituals proceed, the priest asks for Rahi’s parents to perform an important ritual. Anupama, with her strong maternal instincts, wants to do it herself but feels helpless. Baa, always ready with a suggestion, proposes that Hasmuk and Leela step in instead. But before they can act, Rahi interjects, making a bold statement—since Anupama has taken full responsibility for Anuj, she should have the right to perform the ritual. Anupama tries to silence Rahi, but Rahi remains firm in her stance. Baa, predictably, feels insulted, but Prem surprisingly supports Rahi. With Prem’s backing, the family eventually agrees, and Anupama is given the honor of performing the ritual.
Meanwhile, Ansh helps Prathana clean her dress, and—big surprise—this triggers Gautam once again. While this petty drama unfolds, Anupama asks Jhanki to serve food to the guests, but Jhanki snaps back, telling her to focus on the ritual instead. Elsewhere, things take a darker turn—Gautam, now completely unhinged, confronts Prathana, accusing her of trying to seduce Ansh. Prathana, not one to take baseless accusations, lashes out at him. In response, Gautam escalates the situation, resorting to physical and verbal abuse. Ansh arrives just in time to witness this horrific display. Gautam, still spewing venom, taunts Prathana, cruelly implying that her past lover has returned.
Back at the shoe-stealing operation, Leela manages to hide Prem’s shoe, relishing the fact that Rahi will ultimately win. Meanwhile, Ansh, falsely accused of something, gets into a brawl with Gautam. This fight catches Anupama’s attention, and upon investigation, she discovers the ugly truth—Gautam was abusing Prathana. Just as tensions reach their peak, the episode comes to an end, leaving viewers on edge.

In the next episode, Anupama takes a stand against Gautam and exposes his abuse in front of the Kotharis. Parag, ever the stern patriarch, warns that if Anupama’s accusations turn out to be false, there will be serious consequences. However, Anupama, fearless and determined, refuses to back down.
