Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 11th March 2025 Written Update: Ranbir fumes at Adrija. Today in Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha written update, the episode kicks off with Ranbir taking Meghla to the orphanage, where she’s ready to dive into her tragic past like it’s an emotional reality show. She shares her history with the incharge, and Ranbir backs her up like a supportive sidekick. Meghla’s on a mission to uncover the mystery of her biological parents, but the father disappoints her right off the bat by revealing that he wasn’t in charge back then. (Great start. Real helpful, sir.) As Meghla’s about to spiral into an existential crisis, the father suddenly drops the biggest bomb—her parents’ names were Iravati and Anantya Mukherji. Both Meghla and Ranbir stand there, shaken. Meghla goes into full emotional mode, while Ranbir tries to process this unexpected plot twist.
Meanwhile, Mahua is busy sulking to Chandan about Meghla’s burning desire to find her real parents. Chandan, forever caught between his wife’s dramatics and his daughter’s decisions, looks just as hurt. Back at the orphanage, the father doesn’t stop at just revealing names—he throws in another punch by confirming that Meghla’s parents are long gone. Meghla, still running on curiosity, asks about any surviving relatives, but, of course, this is a soap opera, so nothing is ever simple. The father reveals that her relatives did show up after she was adopted, but because of some mystical orphanage rules, they weren’t informed about Meghla’s existence. (Translation: The rules were more important than reuniting a kid with her family. Cool.) Meghla, predictably, gets upset, and just as she starts demanding more answers, Ranbir steps in, suggesting she consult Meher, Iravati’s friend, instead of forcing the orphanage into another ethics debate.
Now, because Meghla is not the type to let things go, she insists on seeing a photo of her biological parents. This triggers the father’s skepticism, as if she’s planning something sinister. Meghla reassures him that she just wants to see them, not erase her foster parents from her life. (A reasonable request, but hey, let’s make her feel guilty for it anyway.)
Elsewhere, Mahua gives herself a pep talk about how they raised Meghla well, so they shouldn’t be too upset. (Spoiler: She’s still upset.) Then, in classic Mahua fashion, she decides to ruin the moment by blaming Meghla for Adrija’s accident. Chandan, the peacemaker, begs Mahua to stop the blame game, but Mahua—who clearly lives for drama—refuses to let it go. The conversation predictably spirals into yet another husband-wife argument, leaving them right where they started.
Back at the orphanage, the father promises to dig up a photo of Meghla’s parents, and suddenly, Meghla’s spirits are lifted again. (The emotional rollercoaster continues.) She then reminisces about her connection to the orphanage, while Ranbir takes the opportunity to publicly thank them for adopting Meghla. (Cue sentimental music.) Meghla makes a heartfelt promise to support the orphanage kids once she starts earning, which leads to Ranbir offering his own money. But Meghla, ever the independent soul, refuses. (Because nothing says “strong female lead” like rejecting financial help from the love interest.) Ranbir looks at her with admiration, while the father expresses gratitude for Meghla’s noble intentions.
In a surprise turn, Ranbir casually flexes Meghla’s musical talent, and the father jumps at the chance to encourage her to perform at an upcoming event. Meghla agrees, because why not add a talent showcase to this emotionally draining day? She and Ranbir then spend some wholesome moments with the orphanage kids before heading home.

Meanwhile, Chandan suggests bringing Adrija back home, but Mahua—because she must oppose everything Chandan says—supports Adrija’s decision to stay with the Bajwas. She also takes the opportunity to drag Ranbir, claiming that everything he’s doing for Adrija is purely out of guilt. (Gee, Mahua, have you ever considered just letting people be?) She even doubles down, insisting that Meghla is equally responsible for Adrija’s accident.
By the time Ranbir and Meghla return home, the family is convinced their little detective mission failed. Zoravar, the resident grump, doesn’t waste time criticizing Meghla and scolding Ranbir for taking unnecessary leave. (Because obviously for Zoravar, learning about your long-lost parents is a hobby, not a life-changing event.) But Ranbir, now immune to Zoravar’s constant negativity, stands his ground.
Cue Adrija, who swoops in with some unsolicited advice: Meghla should just drop her quest for her real parents. And, because it’s Adrija, she throws in a casual insult about Meghla’s biological family, prompting an instant angry reaction from Ranbir. (Man’s patience is running on fumes at this point.) Zoravar, never one to miss a chance to be rude, piles on the insults. Meghla finally snaps and claps back, while Ranbir warns both Zoravar and Adrija to stay in their lane. Adrija, offended by the pushback, storms off, but Simran stops her—probably to prevent more chaos.
Then comes Meher, who encourages Meghla to open up about what she learned. Meghla, still carrying the weight of the news, reveals that her parents are deceased and that her mother’s name was Iravati Mukherji. Cue collective gasps from the family.
