YRKKH 9th April 2025 Written Update: Grief Saga Continues

YRKKH 9th April 2025 Written Update: Grief Saga Continues. In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update today, Ruhi’s grief saga continues as she refuses to stay in the same room where Rohit once breathed. Abhira, playing everyone’s unpaid therapist, fetches Ruhi’s clothes and invites her to bunk in her room instead. A doctor visit is on the agenda, but Ruhi isn’t feeling the vibes of anything remotely cheerful—especially not bright-colored dresses. Apparently, colors now scream “Rohit.” Abhira gives her the green light to wear whatever shade of sorrow she prefers. Ruhi, in a rare moment of bonding, asks to borrow one of Abhira’s outfits, making Abhira go all misty-eyed.

Meanwhile, Kiara gets her daily dose of suspicious energy from a delivery guy and starts side-eyeing Charu, convinced something’s brewing between her and Abhir. Girl’s got imagination. Elsewhere, Abhira finds out that Madhav is considering quitting his job. Vidya tries to play HR manager at home and urges him to wait it out a bit.

Abhira, clearly multitasking grief counselor duties, tries calming down a riled-up Daksh and hands over the mess to Armaan. But Armaan, drowning in his guilt trip, says he wishes he were the one gone instead of Rohit. Dramatic much? Abhira thinks Daksh is missing his dad, and in a tender moment, ends up consoling both Armaan and the emotionally imploding Daksh.

Meanwhile, the younger Poddar squad—Kiara, Charu, Aryan, and Krish—bond over Rohit’s favorite movie. Of course, even that turns into a squabble until Madhav and Vidya hit them with the “Rohit was everyone’s favorite” speech. They all decide to do a family movie night to honor the golden boy.

Ruhi, stuck in a loop of mourning, refuses the doctor visit again—because memories. Kiara continues to suspect a Charu-Abhir equation but convinces herself Charu wouldn’t stoop low. Honestly, the detective energy is wasted here.

Armaan has his own moment of chaos, stalking Shivani’s house and spiraling into self-pity. Abhira has to give him another “please pull yourself together” pep talk. He dramatically labels himself a loser, because apparently that’s his brand now.

Just when you think the night couldn’t get more chaotic, Ruhi calls Abhira in panic mode. Turns out, she’s finally thinking about the baby and feels guilty for ignoring the “other child” in the equation. She insists on going to the doctor late at night, but Armaan fails to get an appointment, sending Ruhi into anxiety mode. Abhira questions if she’s been too pushy with the whole surrogacy plan, but Ruhi reassures her—she made this choice herself and promises to be more responsible.

Meanwhile, Daksh is found crying in front of Rohit’s photo like he’s in a tragic music video. Armaan and Abhira watch silently, because what else can they do?
