YRKKH 16th April 2025 Written Update: Armaan’s Ex, Ruhi’s Torn Heart and a Babymoon That’s Anything But Calm

Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, Restless and overwhelmed, Ruhi tosses and turns in bed, unable to shake off the flood of emotions. Just as her eyes flutter shut, a dream pulls her in. She finds herself with Armaan, who walks in with calmness in his eyes and comfort in his voice. He gently assures Ruhi that not only will he give Daksh all the love a father could, but he’ll also take care of her. A soft forehead kiss seals his promise. Ruhi, heart full and voice trembling, finally confesses—she’s falling for him. Armaan wraps her in a warm hug… and suddenly, Ruhi jolts awake.

The dream leaves her shaken. The feelings feel real, too real. But Ruhi’s in denial. This can’t be happening—she refuses to believe she could fall for Armaan. When he knocks on her door in reality, she doesn’t even open it. Facing him now would mean facing the truth. And Ruhi isn’t ready.

Back at the Goenka house, Vidya paces with worry. The thought of Armaan, Ruhi, and Abhira off on a babymoon together leaves her uneasy. Manisha, ever the peacemaker, tries to lighten the mood, suggesting they’re probably having a good time. But Vidya’s motherly instincts don’t rest easy.

Elsewhere, a small storm is brewing. Kajal catches Charu speaking on the phone and raises an eyebrow—could Charu be talking to a boy? When asked, Charu brushes it off, saying she’s planning to meet Abhir. Suspicion hangs in the air.

Meanwhile, Abhira and Armaan are stealing some peaceful moments. Abhira has poured her heart into planning this babymoon, and Armaan genuinely thanks her for it. On the flip side, Ruhi sits in solitude, staring at Rohit’s photo. “It was just a dream,” she tells herself again and again, as if trying to erase the traces of Armaan from her heart.

Later, Abhira suggests they call Ruhi. Armaan agrees, but when they try, Ruhi rejects the call. Her silence leaves both of them concerned—something is definitely off.

Elsewhere, jealousy starts to tinge Charu’s heart. Abhir notices Kiara in a nearby car, and his concern for her doesn’t go unnoticed. Charu senses a storm coming. When Abhir tries to reassure her, saying he’ll never fall for Kiara, Charu still doesn’t feel settled. He mentions Kiara is seeing someone named Samrat, but Charu is quick to challenge it—Kiara knows no one by that name.

Abhira is glowing with the joy of impending motherhood. Armaan, ever the thoughtful partner, suggests she write a letter to their unborn baby. Abhira’s heart melts at the idea. She begins writing, fondly addressing the baby, and tells them the truth—Ruhi gave birth to them. Armaan pauses—should they really tell the baby this? Abhira, clear in her decision, wants their child to grow up knowing everything, from day one.

As emotions run high in one corner, misunderstandings start brewing in another. Manisha spots Charu with Abhir but fails to recognize Charu. From a distance, it looks like Abhir is cheating on Kiara—and that’s enough to set off silent gossip alarms.

Back to Ruhi—tired of feeling ignored and lost in her own spiraling emotions, she tries to call home. But Swarna, Vidya, and Abhir are all caught up in their own worlds and promise to call her back. Ruhi is crushed. It feels like nobody has time for her anymore.

Trying to push away the growing ache in her chest, Ruhi decides to step out and join Abhira and Armaan in the garden. But watching them together, laughing, holding hands, being a unit—it cuts deep. She imagines herself in Abhira’s place, standing beside Armaan. That fantasy doesn’t last long, though. Armaan and Abhira can sense something’s changed. Ruhi’s behavior is distant, sharp, unfamiliar.

And then she snaps.

She tells Armaan to stay away from her, confusing him and leaving Abhira equally worried. Ruhi’s heart is a battlefield—between guilt, love, and a truth she refuses to admit out loud.

YRKKH 16th April 2025 Written Update Precap Brief:

Abhira tries to connect with Vidya but gets gently teased for wearing slippers with her formal dress. Abhira explains it’s her small gesture of support for Ruhi, who’s making quiet sacrifices. Meanwhile, Ruhi, lost in her feelings, finds her thoughts drifting back to Armaan—even in her sleep.
