Jhanak 17th April 2025 Written Update: Siddharth’s plan

Jhanak 17th April 2025 Written Update: Siddharth’s plan. Today in Jhanak written update, the episode kicks off with Appu in full melodrama mode, declaring her undying love for Lalon and saying she’s ready to hand him over to Kajol before dying, as if she’s starring in a tragic love saga. Kajol, of course, isn’t having it and scolds her for speaking like she’s on her deathbed. Appu, not backing down, throws in a guilt trip—”Don’t you love Lalon too?” Lalon, the forever calm and collected one, gently tells her to stop the nonsense. Anuradha, trying to keep things normal, asks Jhimli to bring sweets, but Appu, who’s supposedly unwell, suddenly wants to join the dessert party. Kajol jumps in like a food police and tells her sweets are a no-go.

Choton casually asks why Lalon didn’t go to work, and Lalon says Appu wasn’t feeling well, so he stayed with her. Aww, protective much? Kajol makes it a point to highlight this love, almost like she’s scoring brownie points. Mrinalini brings in the “What did the doctor say?” question, and Appu responds with the classic “we’re waiting for results”—the soap version of “it’s complicated.” Anirudh encourages her to get better soon before her parents start panicking. Appu, still in secrecy mode, begs him not to tell Anjana. When she goes for sweets again, Kajol is on it like a hawk, redirecting her to fruit instead. Someone give this woman a diet chart already.

Elsewhere, Siddharth introduces lawyer Abhijeet to Arshi and spills the tea about her and Anirudh’s mutual divorce plan. Abhijeet wants the whole story, and Arshi delivers it like a courtroom drama—Jhanak in Kashmir, Urvashi’s suicide, Tejas, and Anirudh’s surprise wedding to Jhanak. She even blames Jhanak for her baby’s death, then casually mentions that Anirudh is playing house with Jhanak now. Dramatic much?

Later, Appu cried again, and this time it was because Anuradha mentioned death. Appu tells her to never say such things again, and Kajol agrees, probably exhausted from all the drama. Appu says she’s passing all responsibilities to Kajol—like she’s writing her will already.

Back to Arshi and her never-ending heartbreak tour—she tells Abhijeet that Siddharth helped her when she was a mess and that she’s already signed the divorce papers. Abhijeet, trying to stir the pot, asks why she’s giving up so easily. Arshi gives a classic mic-drop: what’s the point in clinging to someone who’s already gone? He warns her that Anirudh’s wedding might crash right into the divorce date and hints at legal drama. Arshi’s over it—she wants peace, not court chaos. Siddharth, on the other hand, wants to throw the book at Anirudh. Abhijeet leaves, probably realizing this case is a soap opera, not a courtroom issue.

The next day, Jhanak questions the OTT wedding expenses, and Anjana pulls the “it’s all love” card. Mimi, in full emo mode, says she wants to enjoy the functions because once she’s married, it’s bye-bye Bose House. She guilt-trips about her parents’ mistakes and says Anirban deserves better. Jhanak comforts her while Anirudh chimes in with his usual “everything will be fine” dialogue. Anjana tells Mimi to work her magic on the in-laws. Mimi changes the topic—because why not—asking about the wedding date.

Choton checks in on the lawyer talk. Anirudh says he spoke to Arshi. Mimi, the resident tease, reminds them they can’t even see each other’s faces once the wedding madness begins. Anirudh wants to eat out, but Jhanak offers to cook—because she’s a chef now. Anjana says no kitchen duties for her. Mimi drags everyone to the restaurant. Just their luck—they bump into Arshi and Siddharth there.

Arshi plays it cool and asks if they’re shopping. Anirudh says yes—it’s wedding prep. She congratulates them and introduces Siddharth to the family. Jhanak also gets an intro, and Siddharth, awkwardly charming, says Arshi has told him a lot about her. Jhanak takes it sportingly, and Arshi exits with Siddharth like it’s a fashion runway.

The next morning, Anirudh pulls a sneak hug from behind. Jhanak freaks out—not a fan of surprise affection. He says his heart’s racing and makes her listen to it. Jhanak, keeping her sass intact, says she doesn’t feel anything. He pulls her closer. She asks him to let go, accusing him of loving everyone but her. They start reminiscing about their past, and Anirudh gets emotional, saying he’s finally living his dream. Jhanak asks if he loves her that much. He says yes, no doubts. She quietly accepts.

Precap: Arshi walks in on Anirudh and Jhanak getting cozy. Classic timing. She politely apologizes, saying she just came to pick up some documents. Because nothing ruins romance like an ex with paperwork.
