Mannat 18th April 2025 Written Update: Truth, Lies & Twisted Ties: The Engagement That Shook the House
The episode kicks off with a storm of lies. Bobby spins a tale, accusing Mannat of slapping him. Puneet looks shocked, but Raveena isn’t buying it—she scolds Bobby right away. Mannat doesn’t deny it. In fact, she stands tall, saying he absolutely deserved that slap. And if the truth ever comes out, the public won’t stop at slapping—they might just tear him apart. That hits Puneet hard.
Still trying to twist things, Bobby claims he overheard Mannat forcing Shalini to lie. Mannat scoffs at the accusation, bitterly accepting that no one will trust her side anyway. Vikrant, confused and weary, tells her to leave. He wants to get his dizziness checked—something’s clearly off with him.
Elsewhere, Aishwarya’s mind is spiraling. She remembers Mannat confronting her and, in a dark moment of emotional unraveling, mutters that giving birth to Mannat was the biggest sin of her life. Gagan, overhearing this, is baffled and demands to know what she means.
Vikrant, struggling with his health, washes his face and wonders what’s happening to him. Meanwhile, Mannat vents that he never listened to her. He never even tried to look into the truth. He wobbles again. She notices his headache and gently steps in to help. While tending to him, Vikrant spots a dark mark on her face and asks what happened. She throws the question back at him—why does it matter now? But he surprises her by saying he still cares. Quietly, he helps clean the mark on her face.
Gagan questions Aishwarya’s strange reactions every time Mannat is near. Mallika jumps in, echoing her mom’s sentiment—Mannat brings chaos. She complains that today was supposed to be about Shalini and Puneet’s engagement. Gagan, sensing tension, advises Mallika to take care before heading off. Aishwarya breaks down in Mallika’s arms.
Later, Vikrant asks Mannat again about the mark on her face. She tells him it’s not her face that’s bruised—it’s her heart. And it’s him who broke it. He may have wiped away the physical stain, but the blindness in his eyes is worse. She begs him to see the truth. Just once. Then, with a heavy heart, she walks away.
Elsewhere, Laksh innocently praises the decorations, but Puneet snaps. He vents to Raveena that he’s being pushed into this engagement. It’s not his choice. Bobby, ever the manipulator, tells him he must go through with it. He even reminds Puneet how he apologized to Roni on his behalf back in London, after all the chaos he caused. Puneet, fuming, says he’s ashamed to call Bobby his father. He’s nothing but a womanizer—a failure of a dad and a husband.
Bobby raises his hand to hit Puneet, but Roni steps in, stopping him. Roni scolds them both—it’s a celebration, not a battlefield. What if someone hears them? If he wasn’t being forced to keep things hidden, he would’ve spilled all the secrets right then.
The engagement begins, but Vikrant can’t get Mannat’s words out of his head. Neetu asks if he’s okay and whether Mannat is behind his distress. He defends her, saying it’s not fair to blame her for everything.
In another corner, Anu is miffed there were no Bollywood stars at the party. Her mom promises she’ll go all out for her actual wedding day.
Mallika, glowing with excitement, tells Aishwarya that with Puneet and Shalini’s engagement finally happening, she can now marry Vikrant. She begs her mom not to pull any surprise engagement stunts again and hugs her joyfully. But Kiran senses something is off in Aishwarya’s mind.
Meanwhile, Vikrant reassures Shalini that he’ll always be the brother she can count on. She wants to talk to him, but Aishwarya interrupts, asking for her phone. Apparently, she had placed it in Shalini’s bag. Suspicious much?
Puneet refuses to join the ceremony. Raveena urges him. Aishwarya steps in, and Puneet lashes out—accusing her of taking over his life while his mom stays silent. He accuses her of drugging Mannat and locking her in a freezer. Mallika, oblivious to the drama brewing, announces the engagements: Puneet-Shalini and Nikhil-Anu. She even does a happy dance.
Raveena snatches the ring from Bobby and hands it to Roni instead. Bobby simmers, thinking everyone is turning against him—and it’s all Mannat’s fault. In a sneaky move, he snatches Shalini’s phone from Aishwarya’s bag and texts Mannat. But Mannat, watching the livestream, quickly realizes Bobby is playing dirty again. She messages him back, calling his bluff.
As Vikrant tells Gagan how happy the family looks, Gagan gives him a reality check. Especially about Aishwarya—she may look thrilled, but appearances can be deceiving. Bobby, meanwhile, plots to teach Mannat a harsh lesson.
