GHKKPM 21st April 2025 Written Update: Neil supports Teju. Today in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein written update, the episode begins with Yash and Prachi teasing Neil about his first night with Teju, which they assume went well. Neil brushes them off, telling them to focus on their studies. Just then, Rituraj walks in and comments that Teju must have slept peacefully since he gave her medicine for her headache. Nandini questions why Rituraj had to intervene when Neil, being a doctor, could have handled it. Rituraj downplays his involvement and notices a pillow on the sofa, teasing the family. Prachi jokingly calls him a nosy neighbor, and Nandini suggests everyone join the Naamkaran (naming) ritual.
At the hall, Amruta is ready for the ritual but needs to convince Leena to join. After some persuasion, Leena reluctantly agrees to attend. Yash suggests Neil take Teju to Europe for their honeymoon, but Neil reminds him that Teju has exams. Leena walks in and sarcastically comments that Teju doesn’t need to study now that she’s struck gold. Neil defends Teju’s education and reminds Leena that all the women in the house are graduates. Leena dismisses it, saying Teju’s MA in music is unnecessary, and she should focus on being a good daughter-in-law. Teju stands her ground, saying Leena never accepted her as a daughter-in-law, so why expect her to behave like one now? Bhushan questions the future of music as a career, but Amruta insists they proceed with the ritual.
When it’s time to choose a new name for Teju, she protests, saying she likes her name. Jeetu explains the significance of ‘Teju,’ as it’s associated with Goddess Parvati, and suggests that since ‘Neil’ means Shiva, their names already align. Amruta clarifies that this is a symbolic ritual, not a legal name change. Neil, deep in thought, contemplates naming Teju “Aparajita” if things go well. Leena is asked to suggest a name and insists on choosing it herself. She shocks everyone when she writes “Illegitimate” as Teju’s new name. The family is stunned, and Bhushan and Vinod chastise her for going too far. Teju stands tall, defending her identity, and says her name, Tejaswini Chavan, was given by her father and will remain unchanged. Neil supports her and adds her new name as “Tejaswini Chavan Pradhan,” affirming her identity. Jeetu praises Neil for his support.
Rituraj approaches Leena, angry that Neil is no longer under her influence and is defending Teju. Leena storms off, enraged. Neil reassures Teju that he only added his surname for the ritual and not to make a big deal out of it.
Later, Senior Doctor and Suresh arrive, inviting Rituraj to an event at the hospital celebrating Neil and Teju. Rituraj questions how Teju can attend given her exams, but Teju agrees to go. Neil wonders if she’s doing this because of Rituraj. Nandini presses Rituraj to acknowledge Teju’s new relationship status, but he dismisses it, saying he still sees her as a friend. Amruta accepts this, and the senior doctor invites the entire family to the event. Neil declines, citing research work, but Bhushan and the doctor insist he attend.
