GHKKPM 22nd April 2025 Written Update: Teju answers Leena. Today in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein written update, the episode opens with senior doctor telling Neil and his family that they must attend the party. Just then, Leena walks in and asks, “What party?” Amruta informs her about the celebration being planned at the hospital for Neil and Teju. Leena jokingly teases him, asking if he has started enjoying someone else’s tea now. The doctor responds that Teju is just as talented and now Leena can take a break. He then asks why she seems upset.
Leena says Neil has taken away her happiness, adding that making tea alone doesn’t make someone a good daughter-in-law. Teju gently replies that a good daughter-in-law also needs a good family. Leena tells the doctor that she’s unhappy with Neil’s marriage and won’t attend the party. Vinod tries to persuade her, but she remains firm. Teju also declares she won’t attend if Leena doesn’t come. Leena stands by her decision and walks away.
Vinod assures him he’ll make another attempt to convince Leena. The doctor expresses his faith that Teju will win Leena’s heart just like she won Neil’s. He says they’ll be waiting for both of them at the party and leaves.
Neil walks up to Teju’s room and asks for permission to enter. Teju says it’s his room, so he doesn’t need to ask. Neil replies that since she’s staying there, it felt right to ask. He adds that he wouldn’t just walk in uninvited—just like he shouldn’t have married her without her consent. Teju brings up that very point, and Neil confesses he regrets how things happened. He says if he had known someone else was still in her life, he might not have married her. Teju asks what he means. Neil doesn’t answer and shifts the topic to the party, saying he didn’t think she’d agree to go.
Teju tells him he can thank her if he wants. Neil says he expected her to say no, which is why he declined first. Teju explains that she agreed because they invited her with affection. Neil realizes her problem is only with him and asks why she agreed to come despite their differences. Teju replies by asking who gave him the right to decide for her.
Neil begins to set up an inflatable bed. Teju asks why he’s doing that. He explains that he can’t sleep on the sofa due to back pain and needs something more comfortable. Teju tells him to stop pretending to be a perfect husband and insists on taking the inflatable bed herself, asking Neil to use the main bed. As she pumps the mattress, it bursts. She accuses him of buying a cheap one. Neil says it was expensive and shows her the bill. Teju then decides to sleep on the sofa, but Neil insists she should sleep on the bed since she’s the guest.
Teju suggests sharing the bed with pillows placed in between. She arranges everything and tells Neil to sleep on the left side. He hesitates, but she insists, saying she wants to sleep like a princess and doesn’t like when someone else is uncomfortable. Neil smiles and calls her a princess. Teju tells him to stop talking and go to sleep. They turn off the lights, and Neil watches Teju fall asleep before closing his own eyes.
The next morning, Prachi asks Amai and Nandini why they’re not ready yet. They reply that they’re getting there. Teju notices Neil working on his laptop and asks if he’s not coming along. Neil, thinking about Teju’s earlier conversation with Rituraj, says she already has Rituraj and the others with her. Teju responds that if he comes, no one will point fingers at her. Neil agrees to join. They get dressed. Prachi enters and says the special couple looks amazing. She calls Jeetu, who presents Teju with a Tanishq Kundan necklace set. Neil helps her put it on.
Yash shows up and compliments Teju, saying she looks stunning. He jokes that Neil doesn’t look as good. They take Teju along and ask Neil to hurry up. Rituraj enters the hall strumming a guitar and singing “Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana Sanam.” Neil watches as Rituraj and Teju interact and feels they look good together. He regrets marrying Teju and decides to give her space.
Rituraj compliments Neil on his look. Bhushan tells Neil it’s time to go. Neil says he has an important lecture at another college and won’t attend the party. The family suspects there’s more to it. Rituraj offers to take Teju himself. Vinod says it would be awkward for her to go alone and asks her to talk to Neil. Teju declines. Jeetu points out that Rituraj cancelled his show for the party and questions why Neil can’t cancel one lecture. Nandini asks Rituraj if he really had a concert, since she hadn’t heard about it. Rituraj admits he also needed some rest.
Leena gets ready to visit the temple. Vinod asks if she’s still not coming to the party. Leena says her decision is final, and Teju’s condition won’t change it. Teju says she won’t go without Leena. She adds that Neil may not be hers, but Leena is still her mother-in-law. She calls her “Aayi” with love and says she has a right to her. Leena remains unmoved and says words won’t change her mind.
