GHKKPM Update: Emotional Showdowns & a Singing Suitor Named Rituraj. Today in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein, Neil and Teju’s not-so-honeymoon phase continues with drama, deflation, and… some awkward domestic bonding. Last night’s episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin had everything—bursting beds, teary ultimatums, and a suitor singing Bollywood classics. Buckle up.
It all began with Neil, in full husband-mode, trying to set up an inflatable bed for himself. “Can’t fit on the sofa, Teju. My back’s been a mess since surgery,” he says, channeling his inner patient. Teju isn’t having it. She shuts down his martyr act and insists she’ll sleep on the airbed instead. But karma had other plans—the bed bursts mid-pump. Cue one sarcastic eyebrow raise and a pointed question from Teju: “Did you buy a cheap one?” Neil defends it like it’s a prized investment. Apparently, there’s even a bill.
What follows is a classic Teju move—no drama, just solutions. She suggests they share the big bed with a pillow wall in between. “I want to sleep like a princess,” she says bluntly. Neil, in full simp mode, replies, “You are a princess.” Smooth, but Teju’s not melting—she shuts that down with a firm “go to sleep.” As the lights go out, Neil sneaks in a soft gaze at Teju. Subtle. Sweet. Maybe a little confused.
Cut to the next day, and it’s full-blown chaos. Prachi’s gathering the gang for a family party. Neil, busy being distant and emotionally conflicted, declines. He remembers Rituraj and Teju’s private moment—yeah, our guitar-playing charmer’s back. Neil insists he’s out. “Rituraj and the others will be with you,” he tells Teju, basically waving a white flag. But Teju isn’t giving in that easily. She says if he shows up, no one will blame her for anything. Guilt trip successful—Neil agrees.
Meanwhile, in the land of lavish gifts, Jeetu shows up with a stunning Tanishq Kundan set for Teju. Of course, Neil helps her wear it. Of course, there’s lingering eye contact. Then enters Yash, with compliments for Teju and some friendly roasting for Neil. “You don’t look half as good,” he jokes. Honestly, where’s the lie?
And just when you think the drama peaked, Rituraj makes a Bollywood hero entry—guitar in hand, singing Tujhe Dekha Toh Yeh Jaana Sanam. Yes, it happened. Neil watches, visibly shaken, thinking, They look perfect. Cue heartbreak. He decides to step back and let Teju and Rituraj have their moment. Bold move, Neil.
But wait, there’s more. Rituraj, with a kind smile, compliments Neil’s look. Meanwhile, Bhushan tells Neil it’s time to leave for the event. Neil backs out, citing a lecture at another college. The family’s not buying it. Rituraj offers to take Teju instead. Vinod steps in, pointing out the optics—Teju attending without her husband? Not ideal.
Jeetu puts it plainly: “Rituraj cancelled his show for this—can’t you skip one lecture?” Nandini, always sharp, questions whether this “concert” even existed. Rituraj says he needed rest. Hmm. Suspicious much?
Elsewhere, Leena prepares for her temple visit. Vinod wonders why she’s skipping the party. Leena makes it clear—she’s not coming, and Teju’s situation hasn’t changed her decision. Teju pleads with her, pouring her heart out: “I have no right over Neil, but I do have a right over you. You’re my Aayi.” Leena, unmoved, shuts it down with one cold line: “Your words won’t change my decision.”
So where does this leave us? A half-deflated inflatable bed, a full-blown emotional rift, and a love triangle brewing stronger than ever. Will Neil show up for Teju? Can Rituraj charm his way into her heart? And will Leena ever soften?
GHKKPM is in full swing, and the emotional stakes are only getting higher. Stay tuned for the next twist.

The episode kicks off with Teju in full persuasive mode, trying to get Leena to attend a family party. But Leena isn’t budging—she thinks the party is meant for just her and Neil, not the whole extended circus. Teju, ever the peacekeeper, reminds her that family means everyone, not just two people. Amruta backs her up, and after a little resistance, Leena agrees to tag along with the Pradhans.
Back at home, Vinod nudges Neil about showing up now that Leena is going. But Neil—classic Neil—still refuses. He tells them to go ahead and have their fun without him. Rituraj playfully mocks him for being the “boring lecture guy,” while Neil replies with one of his usual dry remarks, saying he’ll “stay within his limits.” Nandini, catching the vibes, questions Neil’s attitude. He admits he just doesn’t do well in social situations. Rituraj, observing him closely, starts to suspect that Neil might have found out about him and Teju.
The Pradhan clan finally arrives at the party. Dr. Surva, the host, welcomes them warmly along with his colleagues. But Neil is still absent, and that doesn’t go unnoticed.
Meanwhile, Manjari pays Neil a visit. She gently probes why he’s avoiding the party. Neil shrugs it off, saying big gatherings make him feel weird. But Manjari drops a small bomb—she thinks Neil made a mistake marrying and hints that Teju seems unhappy too. That cracks open a vulnerable conversation. Neil shares that he knows about her painful marriage and how she was never supported by her husband. When he asks why they didn’t divorce, she says her husband never agreed to it. She’s found peace being single and, oddly enough, feels that Neil is also happy—just that nobody sees it.
Back at the party, Dr. Surva notices Neil’s empty spot and tells Teju he’ll personally drag him there if needed. Rituraj tries to brush it off, saying Neil’s just an introvert, but Nandini scolds him for speaking ill of her son-in-law.
Then comes a twist—Dr. Surva calls Neil and gives him an ultimatum: show up or lose his mentor forever. Surva hangs up before Neil can object, leaving him no real choice.
The party heats up when the anchor announces Rituraj’s performance in Neil’s absence. The guests are already buzzing about why Neil’s missing. Rituraj, brimming with charm and mischief, dedicates the performance to his family and his “special friend” Teju, even revealing that she’s a talented singer. Nandini feels he’s crossing a line. Amai tries to calm her, saying she’s overthinking, but the tension is real.
Rituraj takes it a step further and announces a duet with Teju. Bhushan raises an eyebrow, while Leena throws shade, saying Teju will leap at the opportunity. But Teju surprises everyone by refusing. Yet the hospital staff egg her on, and Rituraj uses their old performance video to emotionally blackmail her into singing. Teju pleads with him to stop, but Rituraj won’t quit until she agrees.
Eventually, Teju gives in.
They perform Ve Kamleya, and the crowd is mesmerized. Everyone claps, demands an encore. But just as Teju tries to make a graceful exit, Rituraj crosses a boundary—he grabs her hand to stop her.
And boom. Neil arrives right at that moment. The shock on his face? Unmissable.
Precap: Things spiral fast. Neil gets arrested. The public seems furious. Teju rushes to the police station, confused and anxious, asking Neil what went down and why everyone’s suddenly turned against him.
