GHKKPM Drama Hits a High Note: Teju’s Surprise Performance Stuns, Neil’s Shocking Arrest Steals the Spotlight! Last night’s episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein was a full-on rollercoaster. Just when we thought things were settling down, Rituraj shook the stage—and the plot—with a surprise announcement.
It all began when Nandini whispered her concerns to Amai about Rituraj dragging Teju’s name into his stage act. Amai, brushing it off like a minor itch, told her not to overthink. But guess what? Rituraj went ahead and declared Teju would be performing with him. Say what now?
Bhushan raised an eyebrow, and Leena smugly predicted Teju would jump at the chance. Teju, though, wasn’t having it. She shut it down right away, but the hospital staff gave her that puppy-eyed peer pressure treatment. Still, Teju stood her ground.
Rituraj, clearly on a mission, played a video of their last performance, trying to stir her emotions.
“I won’t stop this until you sing with me, Teju,” he said, doubling down like a true drama king.
With Prachi and the rest chanting in harmony (peer pressure level: legendary), Teju finally gave in.
They performed “Ve Kamleya,” and the crowd ate it up. But not everyone was clapping—Leena looked like she’d bitten into a lemon. And just when Teju tried to exit gracefully, Rituraj pulled a bold move—he held her hand back. Right then, Neil walked in and saw it all. Cue the dramatic music.

“Why is everyone against you, Neil? What’s going on?” she asks, visibly shaken.

The episode kicks off with Rituraj and Teju performing a duet on stage. While the crowd is enjoying the musical vibe, Bhushan looks visibly uncomfortable—after all, his daughter-in-law singing publicly isn’t something he’s thrilled about. Leena, never one to hold back, makes a snide comment and tries to leave with him. But Surva stops them in their tracks, reminding them it would be disrespectful to leave in the middle of the party. Vinod steps in, pointing out Neil’s colleagues are in attendance. Leena, reluctantly, takes her seat.
As Rituraj and Teju finish the song, the crowd erupts with cheers, demanding an encore. Teju tries to excuse herself, but Rituraj stops her and cheekily provokes the audience to convince her for another performance. She gives in and sings again—this time with Neil.
Manjari nudges Neil to sing solo, but he resists. Surva gently pushes him, saying if Neil respects him, he should sing. Neil finally agrees. Rituraj and Teju share another performance. After it ends, Rituraj snidely tells Teju she could’ve had this fame and applause if she hadn’t chosen Neil.
Neil silently watches and reflects on whether he should have come between Teju and Rituraj. When it’s Neil’s turn, Rituraj smugly exits, assuming Neil will embarrass himself. Surva asks Teju to stay on stage with Neil. Neil begins, and Teju joins him mid-song. The crowd showers applause. Bhushan whispers to Leena that Neil is only singing because of Teju. Leena replies they’ll talk later, clearly irked.
Post-performance, Teju confronts Neil about lying in Triambakeswar when he claimed he couldn’t sing. Neil remains quiet. Praises pour in from all directions. Surva thanks the Pradhans for attending. A college registrar recognizes Teju and praises her viral bridal video. He reveals that Teju has applied for an MA in Music. Bhushan is shaken by this.
Back home, Bhushan decides to lay down the law. He plays an old video of Neil singing as a child, receiving praise and a trophy. But then, young Neil is shown being forced to throw away the trophy after Bhushan demands he quit music and focus on becoming a doctor. In the present, Teju watches in tears. Neil holds back his own emotions. Bhushan boasts that his control over Neil made him “Doctor Neil Pradhan” and now, it’s Teju’s turn to make a choice.
He sternly tells her that while music wins hearts, it’s not a career, and commands her to promise she will never sing again. Teju is left stunned.
Precap: Neil is arrested and attacked by the public. Even Leena is assaulted. At the police station, Teju confronts Neil, asking why everyone has turned against him.
