Tonight’s episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein delivered a heartbreaking blow—Rajat and Teju were found dead, leaving Savi and Neil devastated and audiences in shock.
It begins with Savi sensing something was off after hearing Rajat’s message tone. Moments later, police discover two lifeless bodies inside a bus—Rajat and Teju. Savi rushes to confirm the truth herself. Her world crashes when she finds Rajat, breaking down in front of Vakti. Despite protocol, Savi refuses to see Rajat as just another body—he was her husband, and her pain was raw.
At the hospital, Neil shares with Dr. Surwa how much Teju meant to him and his plans to start fresh with her. That dream is brutally crushed when he finds Teju’s body with a gunshot wound. Overwhelmed, Neil applies sindoor to her forehead, performing his final act of love.
Back home, Savi reveals the tragic news to Bhagyashree, leaving the family in tears. Meanwhile, the Pradhan family watches the news and immediately begins judging Teju’s character—even in death. Neil, done with their baseless accusations, smashes the TV and defends Teju with fierce emotion, revealing he had asked her to leave because he couldn’t trust his own family.
When Rituraj mocks Teju, Neil nearly loses control, pinning him to the wall. He warns everyone to stop slandering Teju, who he believes was framed and innocent. Savi demands the inspector stop questioning Rajat’s character and investigate the real truth. Neil arrives to back her up, vowing to protect Teju’s dignity.
GHKKPM 7th May 2025 Written Update: New Journey:
The episode opens with Mukta breaking down in tears as she watches the news of Teju’s death flash across the TV screen. The family gathers around her, trying to comfort her. But Satish, cold as ever, scoffs that even in death, Teju managed to disgrace the family. Omi, bitter and furious, says they might as well die too—because what’s left when respect is gone? Satish doesn’t stop there—he lashes out at Mukta and her daughter. That’s when Lakshmi, Aditi, and Juhi rise to her defense. Lakshmi pleads with Satish to at least be human in this moment. But Omi snaps, telling her to stop defending Teju and Mukta, cursing the day they became part of their family. Teju’s brother insists his sister couldn’t have done anything wrong, but Satish shuts him down. And then, amidst the chaos, Mukta suddenly clutches her chest and collapses. Satish cruelly accuses her of faking it. Teju’s brother wastes no time and calls Neil.
At the hospital, Dr. Surwa checks on Mukta and informs Neil and the family that she’s suffered a major heart stroke. She’s stable, but she’s slipped into a coma. Teju’s brother breaks down in Neil’s arms. Lakshmi, through tears, tells Neil that Teju died with a stained name she didn’t deserve. Neil admits he knows Teju was innocent. Lakshmi then asks him the question that stings—if he knew she was innocent, why did he ask her to leave? Vedaan, Teju’s brother, storms out. Neil tells Lakshmi he only pushed Teju away to protect her from his toxic family, never imagining things would go this far. He rushes after Vedaan, determined to prove Teju’s innocence.
Elsewhere, Savi is drowning in grief over Rajat’s death. She replays memories of their moments together, clinging to whatever’s left. Bhagyashree lashes out at her, accusing her of sending Rajat to Nagpur and claiming she’s responsible for his death. Nidhi and Tara’s husband try to calm the storm. But Tara, in a rage, throws water on Savi and calls her a murderer. Ridhi and Tara’s husband defend Savi, saying she did nothing wrong. Savi, broken and confused, sobs that she doesn’t know why Rajat went out that night—or why he was with another woman. Bhagyashree slaps her and accuses her of doubting her own husband. Savi says she trusts Rajat and vows to clear his name and expose the lies being spread. Bhagyashree tells her nothing she does will bring Rajat back and declares she’ll never forgive her. Ridhi gently leads her inside as Savi collapses in grief.
Later, little Sai asks Savi why she’s crying, why her dad isn’t answering his phone, and whether he went out to get her a gift. Savi, choking back tears, tells herself she must stay strong—for the kids. She prays to Bappa for courage, then turns to Sai with a brave face and asks what she’d like to eat. Sai says she’s already eaten and wants to do the “Gigi Dance” with her. Savi forces a smile and dances with her daughter. Sai, with childlike innocence, says they’ll dance again with dad when he returns. Savi hugs her tightly, holding on to that fleeting hope.
Soon after, Savi and Neil head to the river to immerse their loved ones’ ashes. Both make heartfelt promises—Savi vows to clear Rajat’s name and find the truth, while Neil promises Teju that he will fight for her honor. With heavy hearts, they perform the final rituals as their families silently weep.
Back home, Sai prays to her father’s photo, asking him to return. Just then, Savi receives a package Rajat had ordered for her—a yellow saree and a love note. She breaks down. Neil also gets a delivery—a guitar Teju had sent him. As Savi stands there, drowning in emotions, Sai enters and asks if they can go find her dad. Savi, holding back another wave of tears, slips on Rajat’s coat to lift Sai’s spirits.
Meanwhile, outside the hospital, Neil is ambushed by reporters questioning him about his alleged affair with Rajat. Their harsh words finally push him to the edge, and he lashes out—only to be stopped just in time by Dr. Surwa.
