Jhanak 10th May 2025 Written Update: Jaw-Dropping Reunion. Today in Jhanak written update, Simulboni just turned into a battleground—and at the heart of it all? Anirudh, Jhanak, and a whole lot of unfinished business.
City boy Anirudh rolled up to the humble village of Simulboni with Dheeraj in tow, talking shop about land, development, and the age-old city dream of “factories for progress.” Unfortunately for them, their fancy government papers didn’t impress the locals one bit. Cue Veer, the unofficial gossip courier of Simulboni, who rushed off to alert Parashar like a loyal watchdog sniffing trouble.
Meanwhile, our drama enthusiast Kanka gleefully announced she’d “handle the city folks”—clearly, someone’s been craving a confrontation. Parashar, as expected, didn’t disappoint. He rallied the villagers, marched up to Anirudh, and demanded answers.
Anirudh, always calm under fire (literally, in this case), tried to pitch the factory dream with a side of schools, hospitals, and hefty payments. But the villagers weren’t buying any of it. Their response? A good old-fashioned rebellion. Parashar clapped back, saying their farming life is plenty. And when Anirudh mentioned government ownership, the villagers nearly combusted with rage.
What happened next? CHAOS.
Parashar ordered a full-blown lathi charge, and just when it looked like Anirudh was about to get turned into pulp, a sharp voice cut through the tension—Nutan’s. But that wasn’t the real shocker.
Anirudh turned around and locked eyes with Jhanak. Yep. The Jhanak. The girl he once shared a history with, now standing between him and the wrath of an entire village.
Jhanak, clearly stunned to see him again, didn’t even blink before stepping in. She rushed to Parashar, folded her hands, and begged him to stop the violence. Because no matter what happened in the past, watching Anirudh bleed in front of her? Not happening on her watch.
This unexpected reunion left everyone speechless. Emotions ran wild. Anirudh and Jhanak had a moment—one of those intense, unspoken, eye-to-eye collisions where everything and nothing is said at once.
And now? The villagers are buzzing. What is the story between Jhanak and Anirudh? Why did she jump in to save him? And how will Parashar react once he learns about their shared past?
One thing’s for sure—Simulboni won’t stay quiet for long.
Stay tuned, because Star Plus’ Jhanak is bringing the fire, the feels, and the face-offs like never before!

The episode opens on a tense note as Parashar furiously commands his men to break Anirudh’s legs. Just when the situation is about to turn violent, Nutan steps in and halts the chaos, leaving Anirudh visibly stunned—not just by the intervention, but by the sight of her. Parashar doesn’t take this lightly. He blasts Nutan, accusing her of protecting Anirudh because she’s “from the city” and hence, not one of them. Kanka, always ready to throw oil on fire, provokes the villagers to attack Anirudh further.
Nutan, caught between loyalty and truth, begs Parashar to spare Anirudh. But the drama takes a sharp turn when Anirudh, caught in the emotional whirlwind, accidentally calls Nutan “Jhanak.” Everyone freezes. Shock ripples through the crowd. Is this village woman really the mysterious Jhanak he’s been searching for?
Parashar demands answers and Nutan admits she knows Anirudh. That confession alone is enough for Parashar to order Anirudh’s removal from the village—though only his colleagues are allowed to leave for now. Dheeraj, loyal as ever, refuses to leave him behind, but Anirudh insists they go.
With just Nutan and Anirudh left behind, Anirudh says he needs to speak to her—desperately. Parashar allows it but with a condition: Nutan must make sure Anirudh drops his factory project. With the crowd dispersing, the scene quiets down, allowing deeper emotions to stir.
In a completely different corner of the story, Mimi meets Anirban at a café. She’s curious and slightly suspicious about his sudden call. He tells her he missed her—and still loves her. He says he never moved on and is still single because no one ever matched up to her. Mimi, bitter and guarded, reminds him how he once called her “average.” Anirban confesses his family is now willing to accept her, likely swayed by her newfound success. Mimi doesn’t buy the sudden approval. Her own parents haven’t changed their minds either. When he asks if she’ll marry him, Mimi admits she still has feelings but is too focused on her career. She invites him to her place but rushes off when she gets a call.
Back at home, Jhimli apologizes to Appu, and surprisingly, Kajol lets go of past bitterness. Appu, the ever-sweet soul, says it’s okay—Jhimli was simply misguided. The air is cleared with a heartfelt hug. Anuradha and Lalon walk in with news: they’ve recovered the lost ₹50 lakhs and plan to buy cars. Jhimli, confused, asks what’s going on. The mood is light and hopeful.
Elsewhere, Anirudh and Nutan finally have a real conversation. Anirudh is sure she’s Jhanak. He says he’s been searching for her for five long years. Nutan tries to deny it, but the emotional weight of the moment is undeniable. She says he should’ve left with his friends, but he says he couldn’t—not after seeing her again. She relents a little, telling him he can stay at the government guest house if he really wants. They walk away, deeper into unresolved pasts and hidden truths.
Meanwhile, in another household, Ishani joins her family for breakfast. The conversation is breezy, filled with talk of village weddings and the upcoming fair. Adrika expresses a dream of becoming an air hostess. Ishani’s father talks about life in the city. Her mother brings up the topic of marriage, but Ishani brushes it off—she has plans of her own. She wants to become an IAS officer and find her long-lost friend Jhanak.
Back in Simbulponi, suspicion brews. Kanka corners Parashar. After overhearing Anirudh call Nutan “Jhanak,” she’s not convinced things are as they seem. She pushes Parashar for the truth. He fumbles, says he doesn’t know what’s real anymore. Kanka isn’t buying it. She accuses him of hiding something. Parashar finally admits only Nutan knows the full story. When Kanka asks why she would tell him anything, he has no answer—just a growing worry that maybe, just maybe, Anirudh could be Moon’s father.
Precap: Parashar confronts Nutan and demands clarity about Anirudh. Nutan responds that he’s her relative. But Parashar isn’t having it. He tells her to relay a final message: the factory isn’t welcome here.
