Meanwhile, our drama enthusiast Kanka gleefully announced she’d “handle the city folks”—clearly, someone’s been craving a confrontation. Parashar, as expected, didn’t disappoint. He rallied the villagers, marched up to Anirudh, and demanded answers.
Anirudh, always calm under fire (literally, in this case), tried to pitch the factory dream with a side of schools, hospitals, and hefty payments. But the villagers weren’t buying any of it. Their response? A good old-fashioned rebellion. Parashar clapped back, saying their farming life is plenty. And when Anirudh mentioned government ownership, the villagers nearly combusted with rage.

The episode opens on a tense note as Parashar furiously commands his men to break Anirudh’s legs. Just when the situation is about to turn violent, Nutan steps in and halts the chaos, leaving Anirudh visibly stunned—not just by the intervention, but by the sight of her. Parashar doesn’t take this lightly. He blasts Nutan, accusing her of protecting Anirudh because she’s “from the city” and hence, not one of them. Kanka, always ready to throw oil on fire, provokes the villagers to attack Anirudh further.
Nutan, caught between loyalty and truth, begs Parashar to spare Anirudh. But the drama takes a sharp turn when Anirudh, caught in the emotional whirlwind, accidentally calls Nutan “Jhanak.” Everyone freezes. Shock ripples through the crowd. Is this village woman really the mysterious Jhanak he’s been searching for?
Parashar demands answers and Nutan admits she knows Anirudh. That confession alone is enough for Parashar to order Anirudh’s removal from the village—though only his colleagues are allowed to leave for now. Dheeraj, loyal as ever, refuses to leave him behind, but Anirudh insists they go.
With just Nutan and Anirudh left behind, Anirudh says he needs to speak to her—desperately. Parashar allows it but with a condition: Nutan must make sure Anirudh drops his factory project. With the crowd dispersing, the scene quiets down, allowing deeper emotions to stir.
In a completely different corner of the story, Mimi meets Anirban at a café. She’s curious and slightly suspicious about his sudden call. He tells her he missed her—and still loves her. Mimi, bitter and guarded, reminds him how he once called her “average.” Anirban confesses his family is now willing to accept her, likely swayed by her newfound success. Back at home, Jhimli apologizes to Appu, and surprisingly, Kajol lets go of past bitterness. Appu, the ever-sweet soul, says it’s okay—Jhimli was simply misguided. Meanwhile, in another household, Ishani joins her family for breakfast. The conversation is breezy, filled with talk of village weddings and the upcoming fair. Adrika expresses a dream of becoming an air hostess. Ishani’s father talks about life in the city. Her mother brings up the topic of marriage, but Ishani brushes it off—she has plans of her own. She wants to become an IAS officer and find her long-lost friend Jhanak.
Back in Simbulponi, suspicion brews. Kanka corners Parashar. After overhearing Anirudh call Nutan “Jhanak,” she’s not convinced things are as they seem. She pushes Parashar for the truth. He fumbles, says he doesn’t know what’s real anymore. Kanka isn’t buying it. She accuses him of hiding something. Parashar finally admits only Nutan knows the full story. When Kanka asks why she would tell him anything, he has no answer—just a growing worry that maybe, just maybe, Anirudh could be Moon’s father.
