Lakshmi Escapes the Basement Dungeon – But at What Cost?

After being treated like yesterday’s furniture and dumped in a basement, Lakshmi pulls a full warrior mode and somehow breaks free. Because let’s be honest — this woman might be soft-spoken, but she’s built of pure steel.

Meanwhile, Daima confidently declares, “Lakshmi’s story is over now.” Oh Daima, sweetie… we’ve seen Lakshmi rise from worse. Ever heard of a woman with a storyline protected by fate itself?

Balwinder and Manoj are still lurking around, proving once again that this show needs better security systems and fewer deranged exes.

As Lakshmi drags her exhausted self out of the dark basement like a literal phoenix, her sister Shalu hears her voice. A moment of emotional electricity sparks in the air. But Lakshmi — weakened, bleeding, and barely standing — isn’t out of danger yet.

Just as Lakshmi staggers toward Rishi, her safe space and silent protector, bam! Enter Malishka with her daily dose of venom. And this time, she doesn’t come with words — she comes armed.

Lakshmi tells that she will try and save her child till her last breath. She asks Daima to step back. She runs away. Daima and Balwinder argue. Lakshmi loses her way. Shalu looks for her. Daima threatens Lakshmi. She tells that she will end Lakshmi’s story. Shalu asks Lakshmi to call her once. Rishi confronts Manoj about Balwinder’s plan. Manoj lies to him. Rishi tells that he is wasting his time after Manoj. He thinks to look for the basement. Lakshmi finally makes a way out of the basement.

She bravely exits the place by using her wits and strength. Malishka happens to see Lakshmi and is shocked. Daima and Balwinder see Lakshmi stepping out and are left stunned. They fail to stop her. Malishka tells that Lakshmi never loses. Balwinder runs to pull back Lakshmi. Shalu reaches there in time. Shalu and Rano beat up Daima and Balwinder. Lakshmi collapses. Balwinder hides his face.

Shalu and Rano get caught by the hospital’s mad staff. But soon, the police arrive there. Shalu and Rano bash up Sudha and Daima. The evil people manage to run away. Balwinder’s mask falls off. Balwinder gets spotted by Shalu. Manoj asks Balwinder to come with him. The police check the basement well. They don’t see any patients or staff. Shalu tells him about the organ trafficking.

The inspector thanks her for exposing the scam. Lakshmi thinks she has got free. Malishka thinks not to spare her this time. She takes a knife and goes towards Lakshmi. She says that Lakshmi won’t be alive. She wants to end all her problems. She stops when she sees Rishi there. She hides the knife. Rishi runs to Lakshmi and embraces her. Lakshmi weeps. Rishi and Malishka enquire about Lakshmi’s whereabouts. Lakshmi falls. Rishi asks her about the matter. He apologizes to her.

Ayush, Shalu, and Rano reach there. Lakshmi asks Rishi to take her home. Ayush says that he will call the family doctor home. Kiran tells Malishka that she already told her to stop planning. She finds Malishka’s hand bleeding and gets worried. Malishka meets Daima, who threatens to expose her. Shalu spots Daima with Malishka. Kiran brings Malishka home. She scolds Malishka.

Shalu tells Rano that she has seen Balwinder in the tunnel and Malishka talking to Daima. Rano can’t believe it. Rano says that they can’t prove anything without proof. Kiran tells Malishka that Lakshmi’s pregnancy would have been known to Rishi. Malishka asks her not to speak negatively. Kiran gives her a reality check. Shalu tells Rano that there has to be some way. Rano thinks to stay back with them and taking care of them till Lakshmi recovers. Shalu asks her to stay with them. She thinks if Malishka has planned everything to abort Lakshmi’s baby.
