YRKKH 13th May 2025 Written Update: Pookie, Pride & Pettiness

YRKKH 13th May 2025 Written Update: Pookie, Pride & Pettiness, Armaan’s Dad Mode Hits Peak Drama. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, the episode opens with Abhira pouring her heart out to the one soul who truly listens—baby Pookie. While she vents about Armaan’s constant coldness and cluelessness, Pookie, in true baby style, gets distracted by a bell sound, lighting up like she just heard an ice cream truck. The Poddars observe the scene from a distance like they’re watching an emotional wildlife documentary—touched but too chicken to step closer. Abhira, sensing the hesitation, plays the role of the family therapist and urges them to stop waiting for Armaan’s approval and just love the baby already.

Aryan, the human version of a golden retriever, jumps in cheerfully saying he’s ordered toys for Pookie, and Madhav joins the toy parade. Fueled by this rare show of warmth, Abhira encourages everyone to show some real affection to the baby.

Meanwhile, the cake-cutting ceremony for Charu and Kiara is on, and they ask Abhira to fetch Armaan. She passes Pookie to Manisha and heads off—only to find Prince Armaan snoring away like it’s Sunday morning. Instead of waking him, she lets him rest. Big mistake.

When Sleeping Beauty finally wakes up, he immediately goes into “Where’s my baby?” mode. Without checking facts or even blinking twice, he accuses Abhira of being irresponsible—as if she left Pookie in the woods with a basket of snacks. She tries to explain that the baby was with the family, but no, Mr. Drama King insists she’s missing.

Meanwhile, poor Krish unintentionally scares Pookie, leading to some good old baby tears. Armaan storms in like a knight with no clue, scolds Manisha, interrogates the room, and even launches an outfit investigation—blaming a change of clothes for the baby’s discomfort. Abhira, being the only one with actual parenting instincts, suggests maybe Pookie’s just hungry. Logical, right? Not for Armaan, whose ego has replaced his ears.

This escalates into a messy argument. Abhira, fed up, calls out the hypocrisy of his Mother’s Day drama—flowers one day, disregard the next. Armaan, still stuck in his delusion, insists he’s just worried about Pookie. But to everyone watching (and probably shouting at their TVs), it’s clear he’s pushing Abhira away and micromanaging every second like he’s raising royalty.

Aryan, being the voice of reason for once, points out that Armaan’s obsession with Pookie has completely sidelined Abhira. The Poddars nod along, finally showing they do have emotional radar. Vidya steps up, trying to talk sense into her son, but Armaan, in his classic fashion, hears nothing because hey—he’s “just being protective.”

Later, guilt creeps in. Armaan starts looking for Abhira, assuming she’s mad at Pookie instead of, you know, him. Just when things could’ve been patched up, Kiara interrupts wanting to show off Pookie to her aunt. Cue another over-the-top moment: Armaan pulls a health-and-safety stunt, demanding the aunt check her temperature before even breathing near Pookie. And in a shocking twist, he stops Abhira from holding the baby. Like…what?

Everyone, including the Poddars, looks stunned—as if Armaan just declared the living room a biohazard zone. Abhira is gutted. But Armaan isn’t done. In the final gut punch, she finds out he’s hired a helper for Pookie without so much as a heads-up. Because apparently, communicating with your wife is now optional.

YRKKH 13th May 2025 Written Update Precap:

As if things weren’t already unbearable, Pookie falls ill and instead of supporting his partner, Armaan drops the most heartless line yet—telling Abhira maybe she can’t connect with Pookie because she didn’t give birth to her. Oof. That wasn’t just low, it was below sea level. Even Kaveri, the high priestess of family drama, can’t take it anymore and calls him out. Finally.
