“I Felt the Guilt Too” – Rohit Purohit on Armaan’s Painful Journey in YRKKH

YRKKH 14th May 2025 Written Update: Armaan’s OTT Drama

YRKKH 14th May 2025 Written Update: Armaan’s OTT Drama. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, Armaan—our ever-so-helpful husband with a PhD in “Doing Too Much”—decides to bring in a nanny for Pookie without even mentioning it to Abhira. Yep, just like that. Surprise! Here’s a stranger to hold your baby! The nanny proudly announces her 7 years of experience in handling kids (and possibly clueless dads too). Naturally, Abhira is floored—not with admiration, but with fury.

She drags Armaan into a proper showdown, asking him point-blank if he’s lost all faith in her. Armaan tries the “I was just helping” defense, but Abhira sees it for what it is—an unsolicited trust-fall that landed flat. She boots the nanny out, and just when you think they’re done, Abhira tells Armaan to go to the office because clearly, Pookie doesn’t need double the confusion.

Meanwhile, the sasural circus kicks into gear. Vidya, in a rare moment of gentle wisdom, tells Abhira to cut Armaan some slack. Kajal waves the “Innocent Armaan” flag, while Manisha backs Abhira like a true sister-in-law goals icon. Kaveri, of course, checks Vidya hard for poking into Armaan and Abhira’s marriage—finally, some peacekeeping with spice.

Abhira, trying to fix things, approaches Armaan again, but our man’s now auditioning for a silent film—zero dialogue, just exit stage left. She talks to Pookie instead, who is the only one not emotionally exhausted by this drama. The guests arrive—Ruhi, Swarna, Surekha, and Manish—bringing light but also peeping into the obvious tension. Ruhi drops a truth bomb, encouraging Abhira to stand up for herself. Thanks, Ruhi, finally being useful!

But just when things start to calm down, Pookie throws everyone a curveball—baby fever alert! Abhira freaks out, naturally. The entire Bhatnagar brigade rushes in with advice and vibes, trying to keep her sane.

Then Armaan shows up and, in classic Armaan fashion, blames Abhira. Claps slowly. His solution? Whisk Pookie off to Ruhi, of all people. And as if that wasn’t enough, he suggests maybe Pookie misses her surrogate mother. What in the emotionally tone-deaf nonsense is that?

Kaveri, the MVP of the episode, delivers a well-deserved slap—no metaphors here, just a straight-up thappad. She scolds Armaan like a naughty schoolboy, reminding him even Ruhi had the common sense to give Pookie and Abhira space. Thank you, Kaveri. Someone had to say it.

YRKKH 14th May 2025 Written Update Precap:

Abhira’s still shaken, worried about Pookie’s fever and Armaan’s judgmental eyes. Armaan claims he only wants the best for their daughter, but Abhira is done being invisible. She breaks down, calling him out for forgetting her in the whole “superdad” act. Kaveri, once again the fairy godmother with spice, advises Abhira to leave Armaan and give him a reality check he won’t forget.

Moral of the episode:
There’s a fine line between being helpful and being Armaan.
