Jhanak 17th May 2025 Written Update: Jhanak Refuses Parashar

Jhanak 17th May 2025 Written Update: Jhanak Refuses Parashar. Today in Jhanak written update, the episode opens with Nutan expressing her wish to stand beside Parashar in his ongoing fight. She tells him that she wants to be part of his mission and share his burden. Parashar, though touched by her words, firmly refuses. He reminds her that her life has already been full of struggles and pain, and he doesn’t want her to put herself in more danger. Nutan tells him that joining his cause might give her life a new direction and meaning. But Parashar gently explains that his work is risky—so risky that he might end up losing his life to the police. He doesn’t want her to be a part of that. Still, he reassures her that love doesn’t involve forcing decisions on someone. He asks her to stick to helping women and stay out of his path because he genuinely values her life.

Meanwhile, Bablu tries to feed little Moon by telling her he’ll take her to her mother once she eats. But Moon refuses and demands to go to her mother right away. Shubhankar steps in and says that Moon’s biological mother is Jhanak, and she should be sent to her. Anjana, however, reminds them that Anirudh has proof regarding Moon’s identity. Shubhankar dismisses her concerns and warns her not to interfere. He then talks to Arundhati and says that they shouldn’t blindly trust Jhanak. Tanuja also adds her comment, saying Moon talks like a village girl. Shubhankar says that Moon doesn’t resemble either Anirudh or Arshi and that’s a matter of concern.

Arundhati defends Moon and says the way she talks is because she’s grown up in a village. Bablu questions Shubhankar’s hurtful attitude, and Choton expresses that he’s ashamed to call Shubhankar his elder brother. Shubhankar responds by saying Choton has changed and that it’s not right to give their family name to Moon. He asks Anjana to take Moon away. Anjana, deeply hurt by his words, scolds him for speaking that way about a child and takes Moon inside. Shubhankar then tells Arundhati that the audio proof Anirudh has won’t prove anything in the end.

Soon after, Arshi arrives and asks where Moon is. Bablu tells her that Anjana has taken Moon inside. Arshi comments on how Anirudh has changed lately, always lost in his thoughts. Mrinalini gently tells her to give him some space and time. But Arshi reveals something troubling—Anirudh took Jhanak and Moon’s names in his sleep. She then walks in, brings Moon out, and starts questioning her.

Moon, still innocent and clear in her emotions, says she wants to be with her real mother. When Shubhankar asks her who her father is, Moon replies that her mother told her both parents are in Kolkata. Arshi tries to convince Moon that she is her mother, but Moon insists that Nutan is her real mother and runs away in distress.

Elsewhere, Menka is preparing to become a bride. She thanks Ishani for helping her get dressed and says she hopes her in-laws will like her. Ishani asks her whether she plans to live for others even after marriage. Menka smiles and says she’s just a simple village girl, and that’s how she likes to be. She then asks Ishani to attend her wedding. Ishani, in a more thoughtful tone, says she’s not even thinking about getting married.

Back at the house, Arshi watches Moon sleeping. Anirudh walks in and asks her what she’s doing. Arshi says she’s just checking on Moon because everything happened so fast. Anirudh tells her she should be happy, not suspicious. Arshi raises her doubt again, suggesting that Moon could actually be Jhanak’s daughter. Anirudh reminds her of the recording and says if she continues doubting Moon, he’ll give her to Arundhati and Anjana instead. Arshi says she’s simply confused. Anirudh warns her not to talk negatively about Moon again and urges her to trust him—for Moon’s well-being if nothing else.

Later, Parashar opens up to Nutan and tells her that he loves her. He admits he didn’t plan to say it but couldn’t hold it in any longer. He then asks her if she still wants to work alongside him after hearing that. He promises to always remain her friend. Nutan replies honestly. She says she cannot love him but she cherishes their bond and promises to always remain his friend. That’s more than enough for Parashar.

Later that night, Moon wakes up crying and screaming for her mother. Anirudh comes to her, comforts her, and helps her go back to sleep. He then turns to Arshi and asks her to accept Moon completely. Arshi agrees and says she will take good care of Moon. But she also asks Anirudh why he doesn’t love her the way he used to. Anirudh tells her he’s trying but needs more time. Arshi accuses him of loving someone else. Anirudh quietly tells her that love is no longer a part of that chapter.

Episode ends.

Precap: Jhanak meets Ishani and tells her that she’s pregnant. Ishani is later kidnapped by Jeet. Jhanak falls down and screams in pain while clutching her stomach.
