YRKKH 29th May 2025 Written Update: Armaan Panics. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, the episode begins with Vidya overwhelmed by the large pile of utensils waiting to be cleaned. Noticing her distress, Abhira and Kaveri step in to help her manage the workload. As they clean together, Abhira brings up Krish’s engagement and gently urges Kaveri and Vidya to attend — not for their own sake, but for the sake of Manisha, Kajal, and Kiara, who would appreciate their presence. Despite her soft approach, the suggestion doesn’t go down well. Both Kaveri and Vidya decline the invitation. Still trying, Abhira makes one more effort to persuade Kaveri, but Kaveri brushes it off and says Abhira is free to go if she wants.
Meanwhile, Krish is curious about whether Kaveri and Vidya are attending the engagement. He asks Kajal, who bluntly tells him to reflect on his behavior toward them — that might explain why they’ve chosen to stay away.
Abhira, despite dealing with a fresh emotional wound, chooses to hide her pain, not wanting to worry Kaveri or Vidya. She puts on a brave face and carries on. On the other hand, Armaan is lost in his usual disorganized way — searching for his wallet, shoe, and handkerchief all at once. Geetanjali, who notices this mess, also seems preoccupied, silently reflecting on how things between Armaan and Abhira have changed since the engagement issues. She hands him a sari, which reminds Armaan of the time he had dropped it off at someone’s doorstep without paying for it. Now, he feels the need to correct that mistake.
He tries calling Abhira to settle the sari payment, but she can’t find her phone either. In the middle of all this, Kaveri and Vidya question Abhira about the payment. Abhira admits she couldn’t collect the money — because of Kaveri’s actions during that time.
In a surprising moment, Sanjay arrives and makes a direct request to Kaveri: he wants her to attend Krish’s engagement. Kaveri doesn’t give an immediate answer but says she needs time to think it through.
Later, Armaan and Abhira keep missing each other’s calls, so they switch to texting. Armaan sends her the pending sari payment, and Abhira asks him to leave a review (possibly for the sake of her new business or a formality). Suddenly, Armaan hears that Maira is missing. He rushes to find her, and when he does, Maira clings to him emotionally, saying she doesn’t want to go to school — she just wants to go home.
Back at Abhira’s house, Vidya realizes there are no vegetables left when she starts to cook. Kaveri suggests they cook simple dal and rice. But Vidya is more concerned — she tells Kaveri that their rations are almost finished. She gathers a few coins from a jar, hoping they’ll be enough to buy something small. Kaveri watches this with a sense of helplessness and guilt, seeing the harsh realities they’re dealing with.
Elsewhere, Abhira takes up a new legal case, only to find that her client is Armaan Gupta himself. She insists on taking an advance payment. Armaan brings up her previous conduct, calling it unprofessional, but still agrees to pay the advance once the case is formally filed. Abhira confidently assures him she’ll proceed, though internally, she’s feeling the pressure of her EMI burden and financial struggles.

The inspector provides Abhira with a lead regarding Pookie. Abhira spots Pookie’s chain, which leads her to confront someone directly — potentially opening up a new twist in the story.
