Anupama 9th June 2025 Written Update: Rahi’s Birthday. Today in Anupama written update, Anupama’s Silent Love, Rahi’s Loud Dreams & Khyati’s Eternal Meltdown
This episode was a full buffet of emotions, passive-aggressive digs, and one very ruined birthday party.
We start with Bharti whispering to Jaspreet that Anupama’s silent cake-making means only one thing—it’s Rahi’s birthday. Jaspreet, ever the cake philosopher, drops a truth bomb: “Cake makes any day special.” Can’t argue with that.
Anupama, who’s still nursing a heart heavy with guilt and distance, dreams of Rahi. She hugs her in that dream, wishes her, and heads straight to the temple because therapy isn’t free, but faith is.
The Kotharis begin celebrating Rahi’s birthday. Cake is cut. There’s dancing, there’s joy, and then enters—Khyati, the eternal storm cloud. She storms in like the grumpy relative who shows up at a wedding only to rant about someone’s divorce. She accuses the family of throwing a party in the name of Aryan’s death and Mahi’s heartbreak. Girl, it’s a birthday, not a rave.
Prem calmly explains it’s Rahi’s birthday. Parag tries to give Khyati a reality check (bless him for trying), asking how long she plans to stay buried under grief. Khyati does what she does best—ruins Rahi’s day and blames Anupama for Aryan’s death. She announces that no one should be celebrating. Classic Khyati: if I’m miserable, you better be too.
Parag takes a stand, saying Rahi shouldn’t be blamed for Anupama’s past. Khyati, of course, lashes out at Rahi like she’s the villain of the day. Prem and Mahi try to calm her down, but things only escalate when Khyati says she wishes Rahi had gone missing like Anupama. Yup. She said that—on the girl’s birthday. Happy Birthday, Rahi. Here’s your annual trauma session.
Mahi sneakily fans the flames and further poisons Khyati’s mind against Rahi, continuing her one-woman mission to make everyone miserable.
Poor Rahi, crushed by the chaos, ends up blaming her own existence. She cries that Anupama ruined her life and says she wishes no one had even remembered her birthday. Oof.
To bring some calm, Parag asks her to perform a puja. Rahi and Prem do the rituals. Prem asks Khyati to bless Rahi. She mutters a “be happy” like it’s physically painful.
Just when things seem to calm, Parag drops a bomb of joy: Rahi is going to Mumbai for classical dance training under Pandit Manohar. Finally, something good! Prem beams with pride. Khyati, predictably, loses her cool again. How dare Rahi leave her family to chase dreams? Prem reminds her that he travels abroad too. Parag sweetly suggests Prem should accompany Rahi. Cue Mahi’s side-eye.
Meanwhile, Bharti hands over Pandit Manohar’s address to Anupama and encourages her to step out and reclaim her life. Cue dramatic music of destiny aligning.
Rahi, unaware of what’s coming, is bubbling with hope. Prem is genuinely happy to see her smiling again. Mumbai seems like the big break Rahi needs.
But on the darker side of town, Meeta and Khyati have a fight about donations. Khyati, throwing logic into the bin, says she’s only spending Parag and Prem’s money. Pakhi enters to stop the verbal wrestling match before someone starts throwing vases.
As if things weren’t chaotic enough, Savita watches Anupama’s video (why does drama always come on camera?) and leads a mini mob against her. They try to throw her out of the chawl. Somehow, Anupama manages to escape.
Episode ends with one mother-daughter twist coming in hot.
Precap: Rahi and Prem arrive at Manohar’s dance academy. On the other end, Anupama shows up at Manohar’s house. The two bump into each other. Cue shock, stares, and unresolved emotional baggage.
