Jhanak 1st July 2025 Written Update: Jhanak Hides Her Tears as Rishi Prepares for His Wedding. The episode opens with Aditi questioning the new girl about her name. Calmly, Jhanak lies, introducing herself as Phooldevi. Dadabhai chuckles, calling her a filmy girl, and says everyone will now address her as Phooldevi. Jhanak smiles and agrees quietly. Curious, Aditi asks why Rishi brought Jhanak here. Jhanak explains that goons were after her, and Rishi saved her from them. The villagers then suggested she hide for her safety, so Rishi brought her to this house. She adds softly that Aditi is very beautiful. Amused, Aditi laughs and says Jhanak is really funny. Jhanak lowers her eyes and walks inside, hiding her pain behind her quiet smile.
Meanwhile, Payal is busy showing Aditi’s wedding outfits to Indumati and Tanushree. Indumati praises Payal’s taste and choices. Just then, the young girls Kaju and Badam rush in, giggling, and demand new dresses for Rishi’s wedding too. Indumati assures them she will buy new outfits for everyone. Standing by the doorway, Jhanak listens to their chatter, feeling her chest tighten with emotions she can’t express. Tanushree notices her silent face and calls her closer, asking if she misses her village. Jhanak quickly says she is fine. But Tanushree looks at her keenly, sensing her hidden sorrow, and comments that she doesn’t look fine at all.
Trying to change the topic, Kaju asks what Jhanak will wear for Rishi’s wedding. Tanushree immediately says she will buy a red saree for Jhanak to wear at the wedding. The mention of a red saree – the colour of bridal dreams – hits Jhanak’s heart like a cruel reminder of her truth. Memories flash in her mind of how she actually got married to Rishi. Her eyes well up as she softly says she will just stay in the house. Payal tries to cheer her up, saying they are like her family now. Tanushree innocently remarks that they will find a good man for Jhanak too someday. This breaks Jhanak completely. Tears spill down her cheeks as everyone stares at her in shock. Tanushree gently hugs her, trying to calm her sobs. Indumati asks what happened so suddenly. Hugging Tanushree tightly, Jhanak wonders why it hurts so much to think of Rishi marrying Aditi. Why does her heart refuse to accept it?
Meanwhile, at a restaurant, Rishi sits with Aditi, noticing her quiet face. Concerned, he asks if she is upset with him. Aditi replies that she is not, but Rishi insists, saying she hasn’t spoken to him properly all day. Aditi finally confesses that she wished he had told her about Jhanak earlier. Rishi brushes it off casually, saying it wasn’t an important matter to discuss. But Aditi says it matters to her because Jhanak is staying at his house. Rishi looks puzzled, saying he doesn’t understand why everyone is making a big issue out of this. Seeing his genuine confusion, Aditi apologises for overreacting. Rishi smiles softly, telling her not to misunderstand him ever in the future. Aditi promises she never will.
Back at the house, Dadabhai rushes in, asking why none of the ladies are ready yet. Jhanak teases that ladies always take time to get ready. As they step out, Dadabhai warns her about thieves who come even in daylight. Jhanak assures him she will handle everything. Indumati adds that thieves come fully prepared, so she should be careful. Jhanak nods firmly, hiding her fears under her strong face. Dadabhai instructs her to close the door properly and not let anyone in until they return. As everyone leaves, Jhanak shuts the door, thinking to herself that she did the right thing by hiding her true identity and using the name Phooldevi.
In another scene, Pihu enters her house, her face pale and eyes empty. Shashvat immediately notices and asks why she is so late. Pihu, haunted by Jeet’s vile act, breaks down hugging Shashvat tightly. Raj didi and Yash watch in shock as Pihu cries uncontrollably, calling Jeet a bad person. Shashvat urges her to tell them everything. Shaking with anger and disgust, Pihu reveals how Jeet tried to misbehave with her. Shashvat fumes with rage, feeling betrayed by Jeet whom they trusted so much. Pihu pleads with him to take her to Ishani, confessing how Ishani always protected her. Shashvat realises that Ishani was right about Jeet all along, regretting that he didn’t trust her before.
Pihu continues crying, saying she wants Ishani back in their house because she always acted selflessly. Raj didi refuses to accept Ishani back, but Pihu argues passionately, saying Ishani deserves respect, not insult. Shashvat agrees with his daughter’s words, promising to bring Ishani home and treat her with dignity. Yash interrupts angrily, asking Pihu not to lecture them about Ishani, but Pihu bravely says she is alive today only because of Ishani.
Precap:
