Kumkum Bhagya 5th July 2025 Review: Prarthna’s Wheelchair Olympics & Ghostly Threats

Kumkum Bhagya 5th July 2025 Review: Prarthna’s Wheelchair Olympics & Ghostly Threats. Today’s episode gave us a full-on thriller sprinkled with unintentional comedy. First, Payal hires a sniper with such casual confidence as if she’s ordering samosas for tea. She’s literally like, “Kill Shivansh before police comes, okay? No excuses.” The sniper demands double payment – fair enough, it’s 2025, inflation affects everyone, even criminals.

Meanwhile, Prarthna is busy turning into a one-woman army, dragging Shivansh around like he’s a potato sack. The poor guy’s unconscious, yet she’s having a dramatic monologue with him, confessing her feelings, threatening him that if she dies, she’ll return as a ghost to haunt him forever. Honestly, Shivansh probably woke up out of pure fear. Who wants a ghost-wife hovering over their head every morning?

The scene where the stretcher’s wheel breaks was peak Kumkum Bhagya logic. Of course it breaks at the exact dramatic second. But Prarthna, our desi Wonder Woman, immediately spots a wheelchair and does a Formula One-level pit stop transfer. She pleads with him to wake up, saying she can’t die today. Girl, priorities. She even says, “If I die, I’ll haunt you.” Emotional blackmail at its finest.

Smita meanwhile is having her own soap opera meltdown, regretting abandoning Shivansh in childhood, crying about his hatred, while Payal eavesdrops like the evil girl she is. Smita’s internal battle is intense, but not more than the sniper team who gets defeated by a humble fire extinguisher. Yes, you read that right. Prarthna sprays it in their eyes and escapes with Shivansh, proving that even in a world of guns, a chemical spray wins.

Payal, on the other hand, is busy instructing people like a daily supervisor while Prarthna is risking her life. The sniper rages like a child denied candy, screaming to kill them both. Meanwhile, Prarthna rushes with Shivansh to the hospital temple to pray for strength – because in ITV, divine Wi-Fi is always stronger than your home broadband.

Overall, the episode was a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase with Prarthna leading the rescue mission single-handedly. Honestly, Shivansh better buy her a lifetime supply of laddoos after this. She saved his life, confessed her feelings, threatened to become a ghost-wife, and sprayed criminals with a fire extinguisher – all in one episode. ITV bahus, take notes.
