Mangal Lakshmi 18th July 2025 Written Update: Mangal’s Drug Nightmare. The episode begins with Ishana frantically looking for a ride to Mangal’s office. Our girl is in such a rush she probably would’ve run barefoot, but lucky her – she overhears Sowmya saying she’s heading nearby. Ishana, in full Bollywood style, sneaks into Sowmya’s car trunk like she’s auditioning for a spy thriller.
Sowmya, blissfully unaware, reaches her destination and admires her makeup in her pocket mirror (priorities, people). Suddenly, she spots Ishana creeping out of her car like a stray cat. Suspicion hits Sowmya’s makeup-filled brain, and she decides to follow Ishana.
Inside Mangal’s office, Ishana eyes the mountain of boxes. She overhears Mangal telling Sunita that the big box is headed to Gurgaon. Ishana’s relief is short-lived because she manages to topple a few boxes in her hurry. Our clumsy heroine quickly hides in the big box to avoid getting caught. Mangal, suspicious of the noise, asks if anyone’s there but gets distracted by Kapil’s arrival.
Once alone, Ishana emerges and slyly places the suspicious packet into the Gurgaon box. She calls Yash like a mafia agent, telling him the packet is in place and to delete her video. Yash, who clearly runs on blackmail power, tells her he’ll delete it only after the packet reaches his contact. Sowmya witnesses all this drama from the shadows, wondering what shady deal Ishana and Yash are up to.
Later, Mangal’s team loads the Gurgaon consignment. Everyone praises Mangal, their queen bee, for the successful dispatch. Kapil enters to see the women buzzing with happiness. They request a party from Mangal, who agrees with a playful condition, making everyone beam.
At home, Mangal throws a party for her staff. They tell her they planned to celebrate her, but here she is feeding them like a true maa. Kusum notices Mangal glowing and expresses her joy. Mangal, brimming with love, calls Ishana to join. Ishana casually asks if the Gurgaon order got delivered (girl, subtlety isn’t your forte). Mangal is surprised by her sudden logistics interest, but Ishana covers up, saying Mangal had mentioned it earlier. Mangal confirms the successful delivery, unaware of the ticking time bomb.
Just then, Sowmya arrives, scanning the happy faces with disdain. In classic vamp style, she says, “Looks like a boring party. Enjoy, I’m going inside.” In her mind, she smirks thinking – Soon, this party will be mine. (Cue evil background music)
Right then, the doorbell rings. Sowmya’s smirk widens, hoping it’s the police. Mangal opens the door, and lo – Inspector Saab stands there with a poker face, announcing they’re here to inquire about Pehla Swaad. Everyone nervously confirms working there. The inspector drops a bomb – they’re smuggling drugs with food packets and everyone is under arrest.
Mangal’s soul leaves her body for a second. She insists there must be a misunderstanding. The inspector shows them the drug packets, but Mangal says that isn’t their packaging. The inspector informs them the packets were found in their truck, sealing their doom.
Sowmya internally dances with joy, recalling how she saw Ishana putting the drugs in Mangal’s box and wasted no time tipping off the police. The woman’s middle name is betrayal.
As the episode closes, Mangal stands like a lioness, telling the inspector to arrest her but leave her employees because Pehla Swaad is her responsibility. Truly, Mangal is a queen who owns up to her mess – even when it isn’t hers.

Overall, a tightly paced episode that keeps viewers glued with the mystery of Yash’s video blackmail and the upcoming showdown between Adit, Kapil, and Sowmya’s evil games.
