Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 18th July 2025 Written Update: Abhira gives up on Pookie

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 18th July 2025 Written Update: Abhira gives up on Pookie, Armaan’s silent sacrifice breaks hearts. Today’s episode begins with Abhira drowning in guilt and defeat. She decides to stop searching for Pookie, the little piece of her heart she has been yearning for all these years. Vidya stops her from burning the diary, reminding her that she has spent the last seven years trying to find Pookie. But Abhira’s tears refuse to stop. She regrets scolding Myra and blames herself for failing as a mother, believing that’s why her daughter was snatched away from her fate. Kaveri and Vidya, both teary-eyed, hug her tightly and promise her that someday, somehow, they will meet Pookie again.

Elsewhere, Kiara returns home completely shattered. She rushes to Armaan and hugs him as if her soul has been crushed. Armaan senses something is terribly wrong and asks her what happened. Kiara, her voice trembling, says, “We were six… now only four are left.” Armaan is confused and asks her what she means. Kiara is about to reveal Charu’s truth, but Abhira stops her just in time. Armaan, unaware of the storm behind Kiara’s tears, gently tells her that while Charu was her confidante, she can always confide in him now. Kiara breaks down, feeling his comforting words but unable to share her pain.

Meanwhile, wedding preps are in full swing. Abhira and Anshuman get ready for their wedding rituals. Krish passes Armaan a scarf to give to Anshuman, silently smirking at Armaan’s misery. For Krish, today is a grand day – after all, he gets to witness Armaan’s epic downfall as Abhira slips away forever.

On the other side, Abhir tries to cheer Charu up, telling her to get ready. But Charu’s smile refuses to return. She tells Abhir she can’t pretend to be happy after seeing Kiara’s pain. Abhir urges her to be strong, at least till the wedding is over. Kiara looks on, holding back her tears, torn between grief and responsibilities.

Kaveri, Vidya, and Manisha adorn Abhira as a bride, but Abhira’s heart drifts to Armaan again. Her eyes carry a longing that refuses to die. Tanya and Kajal help Anshuman get ready. Tanya softly tells Anshuman their parents would have been proud to see him today. Kajal, with tears in her eyes, tells them to consider her as family. When Tanya searches for Anshuman’s scarf, Armaan hands it to him, concealing his heartbreak behind forced composure.

In his quiet corner, Armaan’s mind wanders to Abhira’s necklace. He admires her strength, thinking how she still carries that necklace despite his betrayal. He tells himself she deserves all the happiness in the world. Abhira, on the other hand, sees Armaan’s ring but firmly decides not to return it to him. Armaan clutches her necklace like a fool holding onto his last hope.

Chaos brews when Tanya realises Abhira’s necklace is missing. She fears Anshuman will blame her. Manisha and Vidya try to calm her down, but Tanya is panicking. Armaan promises to find the necklace, but Tanya, forever suspicious of him, refuses to trust him. Despite her mistrust, Armaan sets out to find it.

Manisha and Vidya confront Armaan, asking why he is letting Abhira go. Their words sting, but Armaan stands firm. He tells Vidya to stop being selfish, reminding her how Abhira supported her in his absence. He believes Anshuman is the right man for Abhira. But Manisha throws the ultimate truth bomb, pointing out that he still carries Abhira’s necklace with him and that destiny never lies. Destiny, that uninvited guest who crashes every wedding, seems to favor Armaan after all. He finds Abhira’s necklace near Anshuman’s belongings and realises maybe, just maybe, fate wants them to rewrite their story.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Abhira, torn between past and present, decides to call Armaan for help in uncovering the truth about Pookie. Kaveri regrets stopping Armaan from revealing Myra’s truth to Abhira. She fears that if Anshuman learns the truth, Armaan will drown in guilt forever. In the precap, as Armaan lies unconscious at the hospital with his phone ringing endlessly, destiny writes another chapter of unanswered calls and incomplete confessions.

YRKKH 18th July 2025 Written Update Review:

This episode was a cocktail of heartbreak, silent sacrifices, and raw truths. Armaan’s pain was so palpable today; his every glance towards Abhira screamed love and regret. Krish, as always, enjoyed his daily dose of negativity, while Anshuman’s robotic calmness remained suspicious. Abhira’s breakdown today was gut-wrenching, proving once again that strength doesn’t mean hiding pain but carrying it despite trembling knees. With the precap hinting at Armaan’s health crisis, it seems the makers are ready to serve another round of melodrama to keep us hooked. Let’s see how long destiny can keep these two apart before love claims its victory.
