Anupama 22nd August 2025 Written Update: Prarthana’s Tears, Parag’s Anger, and Baraat Drama

Anupama 22nd August 2025 Written Update: Prarthana’s Tears, Parag’s Anger, and Baraat Drama. The episode begins on a cheerful note as Anupama and Rahi hand out “bride” and “groom” badges to family members. The little details bring joy to the atmosphere, but emotions still linger beneath the surface. Rahi and Mahi lovingly help Prarthana get ready for her big day. As Prarthana looks at the family photograph, her eyes turn moist. Memories and reality collide, and she struggles to hold back her emotions. Anupama notices her pain and gently suggests she send a picture to Parag, who, far away, is restless and lost in thoughts of his daughter.

Later, Anupama compliments Rahi’s look, only to get praised in return. But Rahi’s smile hides her inner ache as she recalls Anuj. Anupama, too, finds herself lost in memories when she sees Ansh dressed as a groom. Samar’s image flashes before her eyes, making her heart ache with bittersweet nostalgia.

Leela steps up with her own moment of honesty. She tells Ansh she has nothing extravagant to gift him, confessing that if Vanraj had been alive, he would have showered Ansh with gold. Hasmuk consoles her, while Leela still manages to give a gold chain. Pakhi gives a simple gold ring, admitting she isn’t wealthy enough to buy more. Paritosh, in his ever-dramatic way, offers a blank cheque, boasting that once he gets rich, Ansh can cash in any amount. Bhavesh adds a heartfelt gesture, promising to send pickle made with the recipe of Anupama’s late mother. Jignesh gifts a watch, while Kinjal too contributes a present. Amidst all these, Paritosh remembers Samar, while Kinjal feels the absence of Dimple. Rahi quietly recalls Dimple as well.

The mood turns heavier when Kinjal points out that just like Rahi, even Anupama is unfairly burdened with accusations. This triggers Rahi’s pain, and she bluntly blames Anupama for Aryan’s death. The room chills with her words. Anupama, composed yet broken inside, softly says that those who leave us are always remembered. She recalls Samar, Vanraj, Anuj, Dimple, and her mother — carrying their shadows in her heart like a never-ending ache.

In a sweet moment, Rahi ties a protective band on Ansh’s wrist, blessing him against the evil eye. Ansh hugs her warmly, and for a moment, the family feels whole again. Meanwhile, Parag continues to sink in his fears of losing Prarthana.

Anupama helps Ansh get dressed, her maternal instincts overflowing. She once again sees Samar in him when he playfully imitates his late brother. With moist eyes, she advises Ansh not to lose himself after marriage and also shares her wisdom with Prarthana. Hasmuk teases Anupama, asking about the baraat plans. She smiles and says the groom’s side will step out, only to re-enter dancing. Rahi chimes in cheekily, saying she and Anupama belong to both sides.

The happiness doesn’t last long. A storm brews as Parag hears shocking news — Gautam, Vasundhara, and Khyati went to Prarthana demanding her baby. His fury erupts like a volcano. He lashes out, saying, “When it comes to me, the very first right belongs to you. Didn’t you once tell Khanki ji that Prakash is your son before he’s her husband? If you couldn’t give up your rights, how can Prarthana give up hers on her own child? If you didn’t want to be part of her happiness, you should have stayed away. Why go there and hurt her?”

His anger doesn’t stop there. He shifts his fury toward Anupama, accusing her of tearing his family apart. According to him, Anupama first separated their son, then snatched their daughter, and now is trying to pull Mahi away by filling her head with the idea of remarriage. He spits venom, mocking Anupama for being twice married herself and accusing her of treating relationships like games. His words sting, and the family is left shaken.

On the other side, Rahi and Prem sneak in a tender romantic moment, but their happiness is short-lived. Vasundhara vows to Parag that they will take the baby at any cost. Gautam adds fuel, adamant about claiming his child. Parag stands his ground — no one will take Prarthana’s baby away from her. The confrontation only promises more drama ahead.

As the episode nears its close, Prarthana catches sight of the baraat. The music, the colors, the joy — all of it clashes with her haunting memories of the Kotharis. Tears stream down her face as she tries to absorb the moment.

Episode Ends.

Precap:

Anupama’s dress suddenly catches fire. In a heart-stopping moment, Rahi jumps in to save her, terrified of losing Anupama. Once safe, Anupama reassures her that she is fine. But Rahi breaks down, confessing she cannot imagine life without Anupama.
