Mannat 23rd August 2025 Written Update: Mannat’s Brave Climb, Anirudh’s Escape, and Vikrant’s Narrow Escape from Death.
The episode begins with Mannat’s instincts kicking in. Something feels off, and her gut tells her that Vikrant is in danger. Her eyes scan the setup, and she quickly notices the crane, which doesn’t look safe at all. While the rest of the crowd is immersed in the festivities, Mannat can see only one thing—Vikrant’s life hanging by a thread.
She raises her voice to alert Vikrant, but at that very moment, Mallika orders the staff to increase the volume of the music. The dhols, claps, and blaring sound system drown out Mannat’s warnings. Vikrant, with the crowd’s cheers pushing him on, doesn’t hear her. On the ground, Mannat’s worry only increases as she notices nuts and bolts lying scattered—clear evidence of tampering. Her heart races with fear that a disaster is waiting to strike.
Meanwhile, far away from the celebratory chaos, another storm is brewing. Anirudh hides from Aishwarya, who is relentlessly searching for him. His eyes fall on an ambulance parked nearby. Fate gives him a chance when the driver, in a hurry, rushes inside the venue leaving the keys behind. Anirudh seizes the opportunity. He slips into the ambulance, his mind repeating one thing—he must protect Mannat. His determination is unshakable: As long as I live, nothing will happen to my daughter. Mallika can never win over her. Aishwarya catches sight of him leaving and speeds after him in her car, her eyes burning with revenge.
Back at the Dahi-handi function, Mannat’s anxiety peaks. She pleads with the crane operator to bring Vikrant down immediately. Her voice trembles, her eyes plead, but the operator, instead of reassurance, speaks in riddles of doom. He admits that the brake system has failed but claims it has been “repaired.” His words send chills down her spine when he declares that no one can escape death. Panic and determination surge inside Mannat as she realizes someone is plotting against Vikrant.
Mallika watches from afar, a wicked smile on her face. She believes today will mark Vikrant’s end, and her plan will finally succeed. But Mannat refuses to stand helpless. With courage that surprises even those around her, she begins climbing the crane herself. Neetu, watching her, panics and asks Roni what she’s doing. The others are oblivious, still caught in the festival mood, but Mannat is in a battle between life and death.
She screams for Vikrant to stop, but he is too determined to break the pot and win the crowd’s applause. Mallika starts to sweat—her confidence shaken as Mannat climbs higher. If Mannat uncovers her plan, everything will collapse. Still unaware of the danger, Vikrant proudly declares that nobody can defeat him today, while his parents cheer from below, encouraging him to go for the final strike.
Vikrant smashes the pot, showering the crowd with curd and flowers. The crowd bursts into celebration, but victory turns to horror in a second. He loses his balance and teeters dangerously. Mannat lunges forward and grabs his hand, refusing to let him fall. Hanging in mid-air, Vikrant scolds her for putting her life at risk. But Mannat’s voice cracks with emotion as she declares she can’t live without him. Shruthi screams for help, her panic cutting through the noise.
Mallika smirks, thinking her plan is succeeding—two lives in danger at once. Roni begs the crane operator to bring them down, but he coldly replies that the brake system has failed completely. The danger is now real and irreversible.
Vikrant, seeing Mannat’s life also hanging on his weight, begs her to let go of his hand. She refuses with all her strength, declaring she will never leave him. Below, Neetu—never missing a chance to blame Mannat—accuses her of creating this mess. Shruthi retaliates, defending her daughter, shouting that Mannat is risking her own life to save Vikrant while Neetu can only throw accusations. Overwhelmed, Shruthi faints on the spot.
At this tense moment, Anirudh arrives at the scene. His eyes widen as he takes in the life-and-death struggle above. Aishwarya, who has been tailing him, also reaches but holds back her attack due to the crowd of staff members present. Anirudh wastes no time—he orders the staff to spread out a bed on the floor, so Vikrant and Mannat have something to land on if they fall. Aishwarya fumes; his quick thinking has ruined her plan again. She vows silently that she’ll get another chance to finish him, but for now, she alerts the police to drag him back to jail.
Mannat, struggling on the crane, notices Anirudh’s secret efforts and wonders why he is here in such a condition. Despite being branded a fugitive, he is still risking his life for hers. Mallika, watching the rescue unfold, loses her temper. Her carefully laid scheme is falling apart.
Finally, with a leap of faith, Vikrant and Mannat jump down onto the safety setup arranged by Anirudh. They survive the near-death ordeal, relief sweeping through the crowd. Anirudh rushes forward to check on his daughter. His voice, trembling with concern, asks if she is okay. But before Mannat can respond, Vikrant misunderstands the situation. In his anger and suspicion, he believes Anirudh came to harm Mannat. Without hearing him out, Vikrant lands blows on Anirudh.
The police arrive just then, their eyes set on arresting Anirudh. Before being taken away, he manages to cry out a chilling warning to Mannat—her life is still in grave danger. His words linger, leaving Mannat shaken.
The episode ends on this nail-biting note.
Mannat 23rd August 2025 Written Update Review
This episode of Mannat was a full rollercoaster—emotionally charged, action-packed, and nerve-wracking from start to finish. The writers truly played with the tension, balancing the festive atmosphere of Dahi-handi with the life-threatening sabotage on the crane.
Mannat stood out as the hero of the episode. Her decision to climb the crane, despite the risk, showcased her courage and determination. It wasn’t about winning Vikrant’s trust or proving herself—it was pure love and instinct to save the man she cannot imagine living without. Her dialogue, “I can’t live without you,” felt straight from the heart and added emotional weight to the already gripping scene.
Anirudh’s track provided another layer of suspense. His daring escape and immediate focus on saving Mannat showed that his fatherly instincts overshadow every other trouble. The fact that he risked exposure and capture to ensure her safety makes his character both tragic and heroic. Yet, the misunderstanding by Vikrant—thinking Anirudh came to harm Mannat—felt frustrating but realistic. In the heat of the moment, emotions cloud judgment, and this twist adds further conflict for the upcoming track.
Mallika’s evil plan, while dramatic, is starting to feel repetitive. Her constant attempts to end Vikrant or Mannat, only to be thwarted, risk turning into a cycle. However, the crane sabotage was executed well, keeping viewers at the edge of their seats.
Aishwarya’s subplot continues to build. Her obsession with killing Anirudh, contrasted by her inability to strike in public, gives her character a dangerous unpredictability. With her alerting the police, the tension surrounding Anirudh’s fate intensifies.
On the downside, Neetu’s endless blaming of Mannat is becoming irritating. Even in moments of crisis, her character spews negativity instead of showing concern, which feels overdone. Shruthi, on the other hand, added emotional grounding by fainting in distress, reminding us of a mother’s helplessness.
Overall, this was a gripping episode with everything—love, suspense, betrayal, action, and heartbreak. The crane sequence was the clear highlight, beautifully shot and emotionally heavy. Anirudh’s warning at the end sets the stage for darker days ahead, leaving viewers wondering: will Mannat believe him, or will Vikrant’s misunderstanding keep her in danger? Stay tuned.
