Devansh asks Vasudha if she loves him. She nods. Devansh is glad. She asks him to promise her, if she has to choose between Chandrika and her, then he will always choose Chandrika. He smiles. She tells that she will never come between Chandrika and him. He promises her. They hug. They burn the lanterns and smile at the sight of the numerous lanterns shining bright in the sky. He thanks her for accepting his love. He tells that he will never let her get away.
She tells that she is his shadow and she will always follow him. She doesn’t want anyone to know about their love. Dev tells that he wants to feel their love every month. She tells that she just belongs to him, but she is a maid in the Chauhan house, she works for Chandrika and its her duty to take care of Chandrika. She doesn’t want to upset Chandrika. He tells that he will give her a chance to take care of Chandrika as her elder bahu, Chandrika likes her and she will soon accept their love. He adds that he will soon tell everything to Chandrika. She asks him to control his feelings. He agrees.
She tells that she will not enter the house with him, else anyone can see them together. They come home. Chandrika calls Dev. Dev comes to meet Chandrika.
