Jhanak 22nd September 2025 Written Update: Jhanak’s Truth Clashes With Rishi & Aditi’s Marriage

Jhanak 20th September 2025 Written Update: Rishi’s Marriage, Jhanak’s Pain

Jhanak 20th September 2025 Written Update: Rishi’s Marriage, Jhanak’s Pain. The episode opens with Jhanak in the quiet corner of Simulboni, speaking to Sakhi. She thanks Sakhi for keeping her secret and not revealing the truth to anyone. Jhanak’s voice is steady, but her eyes carry pain. She says Rishi is going to marry Aditi soon, and she doesn’t want the villagers to cause any disturbance in his life. Sakhi is stunned. She asks how Rishi can even think of marrying Aditi when Jhanak is already his wife.

Jhanak lowers her gaze and explains that her marriage with Rishi was forced. It never had love, respect, or acceptance. She refuses to bind Rishi in that unwanted relationship. Instead, she wants him to move on. Sakhi looks at her in disbelief, worried about Jhanak’s future. She compares Jhanak’s fate to Nutan’s tragic story and warns her not to fall into the same cycle of sacrifice. Jhanak replies firmly that she won’t repeat Nutan’s mistakes. She has her own dreams, and she will build a career to stand strong on her own. Even as she defends Rishi’s actions, her heart aches. Sakhi silently regrets her helplessness, knowing she can do little for Jhanak.

The next morning, the Kulkarnis prepare for the big day. Indumati reminds Dadabhai that he hasn’t gotten ready yet. Dadabhai looks weary and questions whether his presence is even required. Neelu reminds him that it is Rishi and Aditi’s wedding day. Payal echoes the sentiment, adding that it is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. Abhimanyu chides Dadabhai, asking how he can think of skipping Rishi’s wedding. Tanushri insists that as the elder of the family, it is his duty to attend. Indumati stresses that they must reach on time, and reluctantly, Dadabhai agrees to come.

Rishi comes downstairs, dressed casually. He frowns seeing the women in festive attire. With impatience, he reminds them that this is just a registered marriage, not a grand ceremony. He questions why they are overdressed. At that very moment, Kaju and Badam tease him by calling him “groom.” Rishi glares at them, irritated. Badam cheekily says that whether Rishi likes it or not, he is the groom today. Rishi senses that Badam is speaking exactly in Jhanak’s style and feels unsettled. He leaves abruptly to take a phone call.

Meanwhile, Neelu asks Putul to change her saree into something more expensive to match the occasion. Putul refuses, leading to a heated argument. Abhimanyu has to step in and stop them. Rishi returns mid-argument, only to get angrier when Kaju and Badam again call him “groom.” His irritation becomes noticeable, and a guest curiously asks why Rishi seems so upset. She casually enquires about Jhanak’s whereabouts. Indumati quickly responds that Jhanak has gone to her village for her exams and will never come back.

The guest isn’t satisfied and probes further, asking whether Jhanak applies vermilion in Rishi’s name. Tanushri snaps back, saying that none of this matters. She explains that Rishi’s marriage with Jhanak was a forced one, and he never accepted Jhanak as his wife. Her blunt words leave a sharp sting, underlining Jhanak’s isolation from the family.

Back in Simulboni, the situation worsens. Jhanak has fallen sick, and the doctor examines her. He says medicines aren’t working anymore. She needs to be admitted to a city hospital immediately for proper treatment. Parashar worries and asks what the next step should be. The doctor advises that he should inform Jhanak’s in-laws. When asked about her husband, Parashar admits Rishi lives in Kolkata. The doctor insists he be informed and tells them to arrange an ambulance. Parashar looks torn between duty and hesitation.

On the other side, Aditi comes downstairs, radiant in her bridal glow, and sees Rishi talking to a colleague on the phone. The police officer asks Rishi directly about Jhanak. With visible guilt, Rishi says Jhanak has gone to her village for her exams. He reveals the truth that he was responsible for her accident. His voice trembles as he admits that Jhanak couldn’t even meet her mother one last time because of him, so he had taken her to her village himself. His words expose his guilt, and he admits he will never forgive himself if anything happens to her.

Meanwhile, Jhanak lies on her bed, weak and pale. Memories of her time with Rishi flash in her mind — moments of hurt, conflict, and rare care. Her heart breaks as she recalls him standing by her side once in a while, only to now see him marrying another woman. Tears flow silently, her love buried beneath layers of sacrifice.

The episode ends with two parallel pictures — Rishi preparing for his new life with Aditi in Kolkata, while Jhanak struggles with her health and loneliness in Simulboni.

Precap:
Jhanak tells Sakhi with determination that she doesn’t want to go to her in-laws’ house anymore. At the same time, Parashar makes a call to Rishi, informing him of Jhanak’s critical state.

Jhanak 20th September 2025 Written Update Review

This episode was layered with emotion, balancing Jhanak’s self-sacrifice with Rishi’s guilt and the family’s ignorance. The contrast between Simulboni and Kolkata worked well to highlight how disconnected Rishi’s new life with Aditi is from Jhanak’s suffering.

Jhanak once again shows her resilience. Her refusal to bind Rishi to her by force demonstrates her selflessness, even though it breaks her heart. Her conversation with Sakhi was deeply touching, especially when she vowed not to repeat Nutan’s mistakes. It reinforced her quiet strength, showing that she wants to define her future on her own terms.

Rishi’s guilt was another strong highlight. His confession about causing Jhanak’s accident revealed a softer, tormented side of him that he often hides. This guilt might be the only thread that still binds him to Jhanak, even as he steps forward to marry Aditi.

The family drama added spice — Kaju and Badam’s teasing, Indumati’s quick cover-up, and Tanushri’s blunt remarks all showed how the household has brushed Jhanak out of existence. The question about vermilion was especially sharp, a reminder of the half-broken marriage that no one wants to acknowledge.

Overall, the episode beautifully mixed heartbreak, guilt, and social judgment, setting the stage for Rishi’s looming moral dilemma when Parashar calls him.
