The episode opens inside the hospital corridors, where tension crackles through the air. Chandrika and Sarika clash over the truth. Chandrika firmly tells Sarika that no matter how twisted the circumstances are, Vasudha can never wish ill for the Chauhan family. Sarika instantly swears on her youth and beauty, dramatically declaring that she is telling the truth. Even in this tense moment, she mutters to herself that nothing will happen to her for taking a false oath. She insists that Vasudha has changed, that the once humble house-help has now become the high-headed Chauhan bahu. She claims Vasudha wants control, that she wants Chandrika to bow before her and beg, and only then will she inform Dev and allow him to come to the hospital.
Divya and Avinash protest, reminding Chandrika that neither Vasudha’s personality nor her values match Sarika’s narrative. But Chandrika’s heart is already in pieces, and grief makes her vulnerable. Despite the doubts rising in her mind, she makes a firm decision. She tells Mayur to get the car out. She will go meet the girl herself. As she leaves, she gives Sarika a final warning; if even one word she has spoken turns out to be a lie, she will be punished so severely that she will land in the same hospital. Sarika masks her nerves behind fake concern, saying she only worries for Chandrika’s dignity.
Chandrika heads toward the locality where Dev and Vasudha live. She is aware of the terrible reputation Sarika described about the small, shabby colony. But Chandrika steadies herself. Her voice trembles with devotion as she says that her husband’s life is her pride, her honor, her suhaag, and for his sake she can walk into any street, any home, any world. She reminds the others that this journey is not forgiveness; it is simply what she must do for Prabhat, who refuses to undergo surgery before meeting his son.
Back at the hospital, Divya rushes to share the news that Chandrika is going herself. Avinash clings to hope, believing this will bring Dev back. But inside the ICU, the doctor’s concern grows. He warns that Prabhat’s condition is worsening. His pulse is dropping, the earlier injection is wearing off, and if they wait longer, the consequences may slip beyond control. Avinash begs him to stall slightly longer, insisting that Chandrika is bringing Dev and Vasudha soon. The doctor reluctantly gives Prabhat one last emergency injection, explaining that after this, nothing else will work except immediate surgery.
Meanwhile, in the colony, Vasudha is rushing from door to door searching for Dev. She stops delivery agents, asking if they know where Devansh Chauhan is working. At one shop, she finds a clue. A delivery worker tells her Dev must have gone out to complete his tasks. She begs him to help her contact Dev because their father figure is in hospital, but he stands helpless. Her phone is damaged, and Dev’s phone isn’t reachable. Every step she takes echoes with fear.
At the courier office, trouble grows thicker. The manager yells at Vasudha for barging in. He mocks Dev for spending too much time talking to her on the phone and accuses her of disturbing the office. When she explains that her father-in-law is battling for life, he dismisses her, saying Dev will return home after finishing his work. He refuses to reveal Dev’s location and pushes her out. Vasudha pleads repeatedly, but is shunned at every turn.
Meanwhile at the hospital, the doctor informs the family that even the emergency measures aren’t stabilizing Prabhat. The ward fills with cries as his chest heaves and his pulse fluctuates rapidly. Chandrika’s strength falters and she collapses into prayer. Tears streak her face as she asks the divine mother to protect her suhaag and bless him with breath. She begs for his life with trembling palms raised to the idol.
Inside the ICU, the injection finally works. The doctor announces that Prabhat has responded. A brief wave of relief washes over the family. But the doctor is cautious. He explains that the danger is not over and that a fourth attack is highly likely unless they perform an urgent bypass. Chandrika immediately agrees but the new challenge surfaces — Prabhat regains enough consciousness to refuse surgery. He repeats that until he sees Dev and Vasudha, he will not allow the doctors to wheel him in.
At the colony, Vasudha fights tears as the neighbours look on. She finally reaches home. The moment she enters, she collapses into prayer before the deity. Her heart begs for Dev to return soon so they can rush to the hospital. She places her trembling hands on her forehead, wondering why fate is testing them so cruelly. Chandrika meets Vasudha and scolds her for not coming to the hospital even after Sarika called her. Vasudha tell that Sarika asked her not to come. Chandrika begs her to return Dev to her, until Prabhat recovers. Vasudha tells that she is waiting for Dev to return. She adds that Chandrika has the entire right on Dev. She asks Chandrika not to worry, Prabhat will be okay soon. Chandrika returns to the hospital and tells the family that she has begged Vasudha for Dev.
Vasudha sits crying. Dev arrives and spots her. Before she can breathe, the weight of reality crushes her again. She hurries to him, blurting out that Prabhat has suffered another heart attack. She tells him that he is critical, that the doctors fear the worst, and that they must go now — right now. Dev freezes for a moment, stunned, unable to believe the words. But within seconds, fear takes over, and he runs to wash his face, wipe his hands, and prepare to leave.
At the hospital, tension peaks. The doctor warns that time is slipping away and insists on preparing for surgery. Chandrika stands helplessly by the door, whispering to Prabhat that Dev and Vasudha may never come. But Prabhat refuses to yield. He repeats with fading breath that he wants his son and daughter-in-law before he enters the operation theatre. His devotion to his family overrides even his pain.
Just then, Prabhat becomes breathless again. Alarms beep. The family screams for doctors. Avinash rushes to sign papers while Chandrika clutches her mangalsutra, begging destiny for mercy. Prabhat tries to speak through his failing breath, asking them to bring his bahu. He wants to see Vasudha, to bless her, to mend the broken ties.
Far away, Vasudha gathers courage to face the approaching storm. She clasps her hands and whispers a silent plea for Dev’s father. She knows they must reach before time runs out. Dev and Vasudha reach the hospital and meet Prabhat. Prabhat gets emotional when Dev appeals to him to agree for the surgery. Prabhat agrees. He blesses Vasudha.
