The episode opens inside the hospital where tension refuses to settle. The doctor approaches Vasudha with urgency written across his face. He explains that Prabhat’s condition is slipping again and the surgical team cannot proceed without a family member’s signature. The consent form becomes the life-and-death bridge, and Vasudha stiffens as she hears the words. She tells him that Chandrika is not in the hospital, and nor is any senior family member. The doctor replies that someone must sign immediately, otherwise the opportunity to stabilize Prabhat may be lost.
Vasudha walks towards the ICU window, her breath trembling as she watches Prabhat struggling for every heartbeat. She remembers his gentle blessings, his unwavering trust, and the hope he placed in her during his brief moments of consciousness. The sight breaks her composure. Tears roll down her cheeks as she realizes the weight of the moment. She quickly dials Dev, her voice shaking as she tells him that Prabhat’s surgery is impossible without consent and he must bring Chandrika right away.
Across the temple courtyard, Chandrika continues her intense tapasya. Her knees are bruised from the knee-walk, her palms burn as she holds the kalash steady, yet she refuses to stop. Her face glistens with sweat but her determination burns brighter than ever. Dev reaches the temple in a rush and calls out to her. He tells her that they must return to the hospital immediately because Prabhat’s life now depends on signatures that only the family can provide.
Chandrika turns to him, breathless and torn. She wants nothing more than to run to her husband, but Guruji raises his hand firmly. He reminds her that breaking the vrat midway will invite disaster, and abandoning it is not permitted under any circumstance. Chandrika’s eyes fill with helplessness as she stands between faith and family, between a ritual meant to save a life and the man whose life is slipping away.
Dev realizes she cannot leave. He steps aside, pulls out his phone, and calls Vasudha again. He tells her they are stuck at the temple and she must take a decision at the hospital. He urges her to sign the consent papers because she is Prabhat’s bahu, present on-site, and the only one who can save him right now.
Vasudha freezes. The responsibility overwhelms her. She looks toward the ICU again, remembering how Prabhat blessed her, how he asked her to come home, how he held her hand with fatherly affection. She gathers her courage and tells the doctor she is ready to sign. Before she can move forward, Sarika appears like a sudden storm.
Sarika grabs her arm and stops her, accusing Vasudha of overstepping boundaries. She argues that Vasudha has no right to make decisions for the Chauhan family and insists that only Chandrika can sign, even though Chandrika is nowhere nearby. Sarika refuses to listen to Dev’s instructions relayed through Vasudha and continues provoking her, trying to stall the process.
The doctor warns that time is running out. Dev is caught between Chandrika’s vrat and the hospital emergency. Vasudha stands amidst the chaos, pulled between duty, love, and Sarika’s venom. The episode ends with the consent form still unsigned, while Prabhat’s life hangs on a thread and the clock races mercilessly forward.
