Vasudha 14th December 2025 Written Update: Fake Death News, Broken Vrats, and Vasudha’s Ultimate Test of Faith. The episode opens in utter chaos as shocking news flashes on television screens. The words hit like a thunderbolt. Prabhat’s demise is being reported as breaking news. Chandrika’s absence from the screen makes the situation even more dangerous. Dev freezes, his breath stuck in his chest. He blurts out in disbelief, asking how Prabhat can leave them like this. His voice trembles as he questions destiny itself, wondering how God can be so cruel after everything they have endured.
Divya panics instantly. She begs one of the women nearby to give her a phone. She needs to make an urgent call, any call, because she has to reach the hospital at once. Her mind races with terrifying thoughts. She repeats that she must reach the hospital as soon as possible, no matter what it takes.
Meanwhile, some people around them continue watching the news irresponsibly. Dev snaps and asks what kind of news they are watching. She pleads for the television to be switched off immediately. Dev regains some control and firmly tells everyone that Prabhat is alive. He insists that his father is absolutely fine and still breathing. He urges Vasudha to calm down, reminding her that Masaa is performing a vrat at the temple and must not hear any of this.
Cruel voices from the crowd add fuel to the fire. Some women mock Chandrika, saying she does not even know her husband has passed away and is still performing rituals uselessly. They claim her puja and vrat will no longer have any effect. Dev explodes in anger and asks how they can speak such nonsense. He orders everyone to be ignored. Avinash steps in and supports Dev, saying Prabhat is in the hospital and if anything had gone wrong, the family would have been informed already. Their only focus now should be to keep this fake news away from Chandrika until her vrat is completed.
At the temple, another crisis unfolds. A devotee rushes to Guru ji and tells him that Chandrika’s younger daughter-in-law has left her bhiksha vrat incomplete. The news stuns him. It means Chandrika’s own vrat may remain unfinished. Guru ji refuses to believe Divya would abandon the vrat without reason and decides to investigate himself.
Elsewhere, the family waits anxiously. They believe Chandrika has reached the final stage of her tapasya and only Divya’s vrat completion remains. Guru ji soon announces the next step. Chandrika must now face an agni pariksha. He explains that the hands which once held marital symbols must now hold burning camphor, and she must complete eleven circumambulations of the deity. Dev is instructed to place the burning camphor on Chandrika’s palms himself, as only a family member can do this.
Dev breaks down. He begs Guru ji to allow him to complete the ritual instead of Chandrika. He cannot watch his mother suffer like this. Guru ji firmly refuses. Only Prabhat’s wife can complete this penance. Dev steps back, tears filling his eyes, praying silently for his mother’s strength.
Back at the hospital, the truth begins to emerge. Mayur informs Avinash that Prabhat’s surgery is still ongoing. The shocking news circulating outside is false. Media reporters have spread a lie. Prabhat is alive, though critical. Avinash fumes with rage and vows to take legal action against those who spread the fake news. Divya comes and hugs Avinash. She cries. He consoles her and tells that Prabhat is safe. She immediately asks if Chandrika knows about this. He is relieved when he learns that Dev has ensured the news never reached her.
But the damage is already done. Divya breaks down in guilt. She confesses that she heard the fake news and panicked. In her fear, she abandoned the bhiksha vrat and rushed to the hospital, believing Prabhat was gone. She sobs uncontrollably, calling it the biggest mistake of her life. Avinash consoles her, telling her to calm down, but Divya is crushed by remorse.
The television continues blaring false headlines, repeating that Prabhat Singh Chauhan has passed away. Divya weeps, saying she trusted the news blindly and broke the vrat. Vasudha steps forward with calm authority. She tells Divya to continuously chant the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra and not lose faith. She promises to find a solution. She also makes sure Dev is informed so that this false news does not reach Chandrika under any circumstances.
Guru ji explains the situation clearly. The vrat required both daughters-in-law to complete it together. Since Divya left it incomplete, Chandrika’s vrat is now at risk. However, there is one last solution. If one daughter-in-law fails, the other must immediately take over the vrat and complete it fully. He turns to Vasudha and makes it clear that Prabhat’s life now rests in her hands.
Vasudha does not hesitate. She reveals that she has not eaten anything since morning and is ready to go to the temple immediately. She vows that nothing will happen to Prabhat. She will complete the vrat as the elder bahu of the house.
At the temple, chaos brews again. Some women mock Chandrika, claiming it is sinful to perform rituals after a husband’s death. They insist the news is confirmed and accuse Chandrika of committing paap. Vasudha arrives just in time and firmly shuts them down. She declares that the news is false, Prabhat is alive, and his surgery is ongoing. She urges Chandrika to ignore the rumours and continue the vrat with full faith.
Sarika appears and poisons the moment further. She taunts Chandrika, blaming both daughters-in-law for her suffering. She accuses Vasudha of signing consent papers and Divya of abandoning the vrat. She cruelly declares that Chandrika will lose her suhaag because of her bahus. Dev snaps and warns Sarika to stop her venom. He announces that Vasudha has already reached the temple to complete the vrat.
Vasudha approaches the priest respectfully and introduces herself as Chandrika Singh Chauhan’s elder daughter-in-law. She explains that the younger bahu could not complete the bhiksha vrat due to unavoidable circumstances, and she seeks permission to complete it instead. The priest blesses her and says Chandrika and Prabhat are fortunate to have such a daughter-in-law.
Vasudha begins the bhiksha vrat with unwavering resolve. She follows every rule strictly, maintaining silence, collecting grains, and showing humility at every step. She then requests camphor from a local elder and lights the sacred fire. With folded hands, she prays to Goddess Annapurna, asking that the blessings in the prasad turn into divine nectar for Prabhat’s life.
Back at the temple, Chandrika completes her circumambulations despite severe pain. Her feet are wounded, but her determination remains unbroken. The priest warns her that sunset is near. Both mother-in-law and daughter-in-law must complete the ritual together before dusk, or the vrat will fail.
Vasudha rushes against time. She prepares the prasad with trembling hands, her lips silently moving in prayer. She worries about how she will carry it back in time. Her heart pounds as the sun inches closer to the horizon.
Finally, Vasudha reaches the temple with the prasad. Chandrika folds her hands before the deity and prays for Prabhat’s long life. The priest announces that Chandrika’s circumambulations are complete. Chandrika refuses to sit until Vasudha arrives. When Vasudha finally steps forward with the prasad, both women stand together, completing the vrat just in time.
Chandrika feeds the prasad to Vasudha with devotion, her eyes filled with hope and tears. She prays that Prabhat returns to them healthy and strong. The episode ends on this powerful image — Vasudha standing beside Chandrika, having carried the weight of faith, sacrifice, and destiny on her shoulders, proving once again that when belief stands firm, even death can be challenged. The doctor comes and informs Mayur and Avinash that the operation was successful and Prabhat is safe. This brings a smile on their faces.
