The episode opens on an uneasy drive, where silence feels heavier than words. Lakshmi senses something deeply troubling in Karan’s expression and asks him what’s wrong. Instead of answering directly, Karan throws a terrifying question at her. What if Krish killed Jia? Lakshmi immediately rejects the thought. Inside the house, the situation escalates fast. Jia warns Krish to stop destroying their plan. Krish suddenly fires a shot, but Jia narrowly escapes and snatches the gun from him. Regaining control, Jia reminds him that she wrote this story, not him. She accuses him of betraying her yet again, this time for Lakshmi. In a sharp, revealing moment, she calls him Karthik.
That name hits Lakshmi like a thunderbolt. Her mind races. Why is Jia calling Krish “Karthik”? Jia continues, declaring that Karthik will never change, no matter which life he lives. Her obsession turns deadly as she announces that if he cannot belong to her, he will belong to no one. She refuses to let Lakshmi have him. Calling him Karthik once more, Jia pulls the trigger and shoots Krish.
Krish collapses to the floor. Lakshmi rushes forward, terror gripping her heart. She screams “Karthik ji” and cradles him, convinced that she has lost him again. At the same time, Karan reaches home, only to be met with shocking normalcy. Dadi and the rest of the family are perfectly fine. No gas. No danger. Dadi insists she never called him.
The truth crashes down on Karan. It was a trap. Without wasting a moment, he rushes back, fear clawing at his chest.
Back at Jia’s place, Lakshmi begs the injured man to open his eyes. She tells him that his Maha Lakshmi has returned and pleads with him not to leave her again. Slowly, Krish closes his eyes, making Lakshmi believe the worst has happened.

Jia claps mockingly and tells Lakshmi that she cannot save Karthik because he has lost too much blood. She ridicules Lakshmi for believing that Karthik could return through plastic surgery, saying such miracles only happen in films. Jia adds that if Karthik were truly alive, she would never have brought him back to Lakshmi and would have escaped with him long ago.
Just when Lakshmi is about to break completely, Jia casually asks Krish to get up, saying their story is nearing its end. To Lakshmi’s horror, Krish suddenly opens his eyes. Jia helps him stand. The truth becomes painfully clear. The shooting, the collapse, the blood, all of it was an act.
Krish admits that he noticed Lakshmi following him long ago. Jia proudly reveals that Lakshmi was right all along. She deliberately planted Krish in her life. When Lakshmi demands to know why, Jia explodes with hatred. She says her Karthik died because of Lakshmi, and she will not let her go without revenge. Using Krish as a weapon, Jia wanted to defeat Lakshmi emotionally and mentally. She declares that Lakshmi has finally walked straight into their trap.
Lakshmi looks around desperately, hoping for help. Jia crushes that hope too. She smugly reveals that she herself called Karan, pretending to be his Dadi, just to send him away and leave Lakshmi alone.

The fake shooting twist is dramatic and effective, even if slightly stretched, but it successfully flips the power dynamic. Karan being tricked adds urgency and raises stakes for the coming episodes. Overall, the episode is gripping, emotionally exhausting, and sets the stage for an explosive confrontation.
