Mannat 12th January 2026 Written Update: Marine Drive Magic, Masks Falling, and Vikrant Loses Control Again

The episode opens on a surprisingly soft and dreamy note as Dhairya points out to Dua that they are standing at Marine Drive. He describes the glowing stretch of lights as a princess’s necklace seen from the sky, resting gently beside the Arabian Sea. He tells her how this sea connects India to the rest of the world, and for a moment, the chaos of their lives feels far away. Dua is completely taken by the view, smiling freely, soaking in the breeze, the lights, and the rare feeling of safety she has felt in days.

Mannat watches her daughter from a distance, her heart heavy and restless. While Dua enjoys the moment, Mannat can’t stop wondering what Vikrant might have said or planned for Dua behind her back. That unease is justified, because miles away, Vikrant is anything but calm. Aishwarya tries to reassure him, advising him not to worry about Dua. Vikrant, however, is in full control-freak mode. He complains that Dua has no manners, that her parents are irresponsible, and arrogantly claims he will “change her” within two days. Aishwarya pretends to pray for Dua’s safety, her fake concern barely masking her real agenda.

Back at home, Yashika puts her own plan into motion. She proudly tells Mallika that she has booked beauticians for facials and massages and has already paid for everything. Vishaka and Mallika happily accept the pampering without asking questions. Yashika then gives a gift to Yuvi and straightaway tells him what she wants in return. She wants Yuvi to persuade Vikrant to marry her. In exchange, she promises him plenty of gifts. Yuvi, always ready to sell loyalty for luxury, agrees instantly. Yashika reminds him to keep it a secret, sealing yet another shady alliance.

At Marine Drive, Dua happily eats ice cream, laughing like a carefree child. Unfortunately, happiness doesn’t go unnoticed for long. A few people recognize Dua and quietly inform Kumar about her whereabouts. Oblivious to the danger closing in, Dua excitedly tells Dhairya that she plans to make Bunty jealous today. She shares how wonderful it feels to spend time with her parents, her voice filled with excitement and relief. Mannat, however, remains cautious. She tells Dua that even though the place looks beautiful, the people around them are not. She gently suggests they should return to Indore. Dua agrees, but not before proudly declaring that she will definitely make Bunty jealous.

Dua’s curiosity takes a deeper turn when she asks Mannat if Shruthi once lived there. Mannat nods, emotions flickering across her face. Dua reflects aloud that Shruthi got Mannat from this city and later got Dua from here too. Mannat adds another painful truth, revealing that Shruthi’s ashes were scattered into the same Arabian Sea now shimmering before them. The moment turns spiritual and emotional. Dua suggests they pray for Shruthi right there. Mannat agrees and decides to perform a small puja. She asks Dua to stay back and enjoy the view while she goes to bring the required items.

Elsewhere, Aishwarya updates Mallika, telling her that she must pretend to care about Dua at all costs. Just then, Kumar informs Vikrant that Dua is at Marine Drive. Vikrant immediately orders his men to keep her there and ensure she does not escape. He smugly remarks that Dua is clever and could easily run away if they are careless.

Back at Marine Drive, danger strikes swiftly. Mannat asks Dua to sit tight and momentarily steps away. Suddenly, two men surround Dua. They introduce themselves, claiming Vikrant sent them to take her back to the competition. Alarm bells ring instantly. Dua senses the trap and runs, but they catch hold of her. Chaos erupts. Mannat returns and attacks them fiercely, her motherly instinct overriding fear. Dhairya joins in, fighting the men with determination. The scuffle draws attention, and Vikrant himself arrives at the scene, only to be told that Dua has escaped.

Furious, Vikrant starts chasing them. In a moment of sharp thinking, Dua throws glass balls onto the road, causing Vikrant to lose balance. Amid the confusion, Aishwarya falls down. Vikrant rushes to help her, and as he looks at her face closely, he is left shocked. The recognition rattles him. Meanwhile, Mannat, Dhairya, and Dua manage to escape from the spot, hearts pounding but spirits unbroken.

Later, Dua breaks down, sharing her fears and worries with Mannat. Dhairya gently consoles her, assuring her that she is safe now. The warmth between the three feels like a protective bubble, fragile yet strong. On the other side, Vikrant confronts Aishwarya about what happened. In classic manipulative fashion, Aishwarya twists the narrative, confusing Vikrant and convincing him that she is actually Arzoo. Vikrant, already shaken, falls for the lie, unaware that the web around him is tightening.

The episode ends with a hint of celebration and impending confrontation. Mannat is set to celebrate Lohri with her family, a festival of warmth, fire, and new beginnings. Vikrant, however, will attend the same function. His shock on seeing Mannat there promises fireworks that have nothing to do with Lohri flames.

Mannat 12th January 2026 Written Update Review

This episode beautifully balances visual calm with emotional chaos. Marine Drive serves as a poetic contrast to the danger stalking Dua, making the threat feel even more sinister. Mannat’s maternal strength stands out as she literally fights for her daughter, while Dhairya continues to emerge as a steady emotional anchor. Vikrant’s obsession and control issues deepen, making him increasingly unstable and dangerous. Aishwarya’s manipulation adds another layer of deception, proving she is no less dangerous than Vikrant. The Lohri setup hints at an explosive upcoming track where truths may finally collide. Overall, the episode keeps the tension alive while giving viewers emotional warmth, sharp action, and layered character moments.
